Y are people hating on Mylo Xyloto? Yes it is very different from RBTH, Parachutes, and X&Y but it is also art. Coldplay made that album and put alot of heart into it. If you see interviews,, they seem very satisfied with it
Mylo Xyloto isn't a bad album. It's okay. But what made Coldplay Coldplay was that their songs were BEYOND excellent, completely on another level. Chris Martin is one of the most amazing musicians I have ever seen, like what I've seen of Freddy from his shows on youtube (thank god we have the technology to see deceased artists perform). I see it as manditory, regardless of why you are there if they are playing in town within the next 2 days you have to stay to see them. I personally have stayed 4 extra days in Glasgow just because they were coming.

It's funny, it says currently at the moment: 1, 972 likes, yet I can't ever run into a fan of Coldplay. Everyone I meet dislikes them for some strange reason. They always tell me that every song sounds the same. I sure get tired of hearing that crap. You know how every decade an innovative band will come along who inspires many other replica bands who try to sound like the original? Well I always bellieved Coldplay was that band from the moment they arrived.

@SamuelMorgan92 That's quite unfortunate that you think that. In my opinion all good bands are better live. Music was not meant to be edited and autotuned into some souless "perfect " tracks. I want to hear the guitars reverberate naturally, watch the drummer abuse his set as he gets into the breakdown, and hear what the singer is actually going on about.

How the f*ck does anyone hate on this music? Chris Martin is one of the most amazing musicians I have ever seen, like what I've seen of Freddy from his shows on youtube (thank god we have the technology to see deceased artists perform). I have loved every Coldplay album since 2000ish when I heard Yellow for the first time, they are the next band to join the ranks of u2 and the rolling stones.
What is really sad and ignorant is that there is a quote in a movie that calls them "gay"...

the way the band played it and was sang this time... So cool, so out of it and so amazingly romantic but with that touch of melodramatic texture such pure but very simple notes ... made this a great reminder to us all of real love...

This song is epic and reminds me why they are one of the best band out there!! They are pure musicians and so talented. Why write a negative response if you don't like them? Not everyone has good taste in music or knows what real music is. So happy I have taste and Coldplay is the best.

I see it as manditory, regardless of why you are there if they are playing in town within the next 2 days you have to stay to see them. I personally have stayed 4 extra days in Glasgow just because they were coming.

this is why I died inside when I heard every teardrop is a waterfall. their new song is so bad in comparison to this. Ahhhhhhhhhhh what the hell happened. Please nobody tell me that they're trying a new genre because that's just annoying. This is the kind of music I was expecting form them. If I wanted pop I would listen to Lady Gaga or Kei$ha or some other annoying artist.

@Spout1520 I don't know. The annoying part is that their new song seems really popular and as long as it does well the label will push for that genre. I mean look at the videos views. A Rush of Blood to the Head has 400k and every teardrop has 2 million or something. :(
