  • Chapter and verse? Notice how you avoid any reference to scripture? And why not?

You can't because in John 20:19 women disciples would have been present ("the eleven gathered together, and them that were with them" Luke 24:33 - disciples include women, see Acts 9:36) yet verse 23 is where Catholics claim their priesthood started! But notice, there aren't any "priests" at all in 1 Tim 2:12.

    Typical Catholic hypocrisy.

Read, "The Priest, the Woman, and the Confessional" by Fr Chiniquy.

  • @MQ1611 There are Catholic women today who are disciples of Jesus, yet they are not priests. Romans 15. "Nevertheless on some points I have written to you rather boldly by way of reminder, because of the grace given me by God to be a minister of Christ Jesus to the Gentiles in the priestly service of the gospel of God"

Why do you need chapter and verse anyway? As for Chiniquy - he waited 25 years to tell his story and slandered dead men after they could no longer defend themselves.

  • oh my God!

  • Good day to you sir...how are things in BeingBob land? :)

  • @rusda2 Doing alright. How are you today? I just watched your latest video. Will comment.

  • I call them "priestesses" because it seems to be more gender-appropriate, and they don't seem to like that term (judging by the fact they don't use it). Of course it's just as valid as priest in their case, which is to say, not at all.
