This is my influence... imagine me, 9 year's old - spoiled into music by my dad, the legendary Jim Peterson at one of his most famous night clubs. The history of the Old Port and the Portland music scene can be traced to this place... and his others. BB King to Bebe Buell, Foghat, Joe Brien & The Kopterz, to name a few. When I sit around and listen to my musically gifted friends I truly appreciate the talent, hard work and practice it takes to perform. Thanks Dad for exposing me to this world
Wow ... talk about a flashback! Awesome footage ... brings back a lot of memories ... you guys were great ... and ahead of your time I might add. We were all just youngsters then, hoping to hit it "big" ... Portland saw some great music in those days! Hey Daver, (Chronister), miss you man ... get in touch! (Greg Barden)
Wow, what a treat coming across this gem! This is Dave Chronister. Dave, I remember hearing your band (Crosswinds, I think) at a high school dance and a Franklin Street concert at Cape Elizabeth HS. Good stuff!
Hey Dave, amazing this footage was saved and made it on to you tube. I got to see you guys play a few times when I was a kid. The time I remember the best was at My Aunt Mary and Carlos's wedding. I loved the whole album you guys did.I called Carlos to ask if he had seen this, and if he had any more copies of the record. You guys were great! I lost my copy of it long ago, it was worn out anyway. Jerry
Thank you Eric via my friend Tom. I was at Dave Bowler's first "gig" in our elementary school auditorium, (with Mike Campbell on guitar). A special person whose music I have enjoyed for many years.
Would make a great openning for a movie. Remids me of Taxi Driver.

That is awesome. Great memories, indeed!
A certain keyboard player implied that he might have some recorded Crosswind music somewhere...
