  • Would make a great openning for a movie. Remids me of Taxi Driver.

  • Oh lord I just really really really really want to hear more of this..... LP is going for 130 on Ebay UK eeeekkk outside of a students budget :((((((

  • @seostattler My dad Carlos is on guitar. if you like, I can ask if he has any of the other songs!

  • @sugahwhat Oh he is? Wow, that would be so so so so so so amazing if you could thank you!!!!!!!!!

  • This is my influence... imagine me, 9 year's old - spoiled into music by my dad, the legendary Jim Peterson at one of his most famous night clubs. The history of the Old Port and the Portland music scene can be traced to this place... and his others. BB King to Bebe Buell, Foghat, Joe Brien & The Kopterz, to name a few. When I sit around and listen to my musically gifted friends I truly appreciate the talent, hard work and practice it takes to perform. Thanks Dad for exposing me to this world

  • Nice

  • Wow: someone just sent me here. Great all around. FWIW the sound just about jumps out of my MacBook Pro speakers: really fabulous.

    Congratulations and greetz all around!

  • That is awesome. Great memories, indeed!

A certain keyboard player implied that he might have some recorded Crosswind music somewhere...

  • BLOWN AWAY! Best thing to come out of Portland, Maine!!!!!

Where can i find this album?

  • Found this album under divine circumstances. Believe in magic!

  • Damn.... Good old days. Should get the vinyl out onto iTunes. Thanks for the flashback.

  • By the way ... I still have a copy of that album ... vinyl!

  • Wow ... talk about a flashback! Awesome footage ... brings back a lot of memories ... you guys were great ... and ahead of your time I might add. We were all just youngsters then, hoping to hit it "big" ... Portland saw some great music in those days! Hey Daver, (Chronister), miss you man ... get in touch! (Greg Barden)

  • Dave Bowler. This is Ed. I understand we're having a re-union soon. I need to get in touch with you soon.

  • Wow, what a treat coming across this gem! This is Dave Chronister. Dave, I remember hearing your band (Crosswinds, I think) at a high school dance and a Franklin Street concert at Cape Elizabeth HS. Good stuff!

  • Hey Dave, amazing this footage was saved and made it on to you tube. I got to see you guys play a few times when I was a kid. The time I remember the best was at My Aunt Mary and Carlos's wedding. I loved the whole album you guys did.I called Carlos to ask if he had seen this, and if he had any more copies of the record. You guys were great! I lost my copy of it long ago, it was worn out anyway. Jerry

  • Thank you Eric via my friend Tom. I was at Dave Bowler's first "gig" in our elementary school auditorium, (with Mike Campbell on guitar). A special person whose music I have enjoyed for many years.

  • That's my dad on the sax! I wish he still played

  • Hey, this is Dave Bowler, I would like, very much to contact your dad, "crazy Ed" , Can you please pass along contact details for him to me?
