wow very well done to all involved in this!!!!!!! :O) i am actually looking forward to the day these are sold to the public and price being well look forward to owning one :O)
For his Fast-Track R&D sessions at AutoClub Speedway (2/12 & 2/13) the motor/controller had been reworked for 240hp and 365 ft/lbs of torque. His top speed was 163.7 and although Chip only dipped into 205 of the available 240hp he still shaved off 2.5 seconds from his previous best WERA race results. Check out Chip's twitter (chipyates89) for daily info about more improvements being made to his bike's aerodynamics, suspension & traction.
I wonder about refills ... I go to the track, run low on gas and open the gas can. Do you take a bunch of batteries precharged or do you cycle through a set of batteries charging as you go? How long do you get on a charge? I go about three or four twenty minute sessions before I start checking the tank I'd guess maybe you get some run time as well. I really like this electric bike stuff and great job!
History in the making. Electric bike is so efficient, within a year of developpment it is already on a par against bikes that need a lot of mechanical tuning.
Well done SWIGZ, I've listened to Chip's interviews on the MotoPod podcasts. Chip is a fantastic spokesman for the team and really brings out the skills, commitment and enthusiasm that have taken you guys so far so fast. Great technology guys, good luck with more E vs. IC races. Jim from New Zealand
OH shit guys..!! So amazing voice of torque... WOW..!! Nice.. I wish i have someday that kind of a machine you got there..!!!! I have only my own made electric atv.. It´s poor against that..!! :) Everything good for you.. Best regards, Paul-Henrik from Finland.

Ok, I can finally say that I am impressed with electric bikes. I wonder...electric track bike with little maintenance? I like that idea.

You should move the batteries to where the tank used to be to gain better center of gravity.

Wow, that shit can GO!
It sounds amazing, like a stealth jet
Although half the fun of owning a bike is to annoy the neighbors with noise...

To all who say music is bad... turn down the volume and stop bitching or just put Justin "Beaver" on so you'll think you have a good taste in music.
Great video and the music fits!
