usually i have a light, but i ddnt feel like dragging it tothe reptile room from my room. and you dont like heat pads becaues its less natural? hmm that makes no sense what soever. leopard geckos are noctournal meaning they sleep during the day and come out at nigh. i assume you mean its natural because the sun would be above their head. when in reality it wouldnt be. they would come out when it was dark. and the ground they wre on would be heated by the sun. so heatpads are more natural.
