The hermeneutics of End Times Bible prophecy is NOT the same as for the rest of scripture. The symbolic interpretation takes precedence over the literal interpretation. Thus in Revelation a city can be described as a country and vive versa. For example, look at Rev.11:8. In this passage the CITY of Jerusalem is described as a COUNTRY (Egypt). In the passage you quote, the "city" is also called a "kingdom" which "reigns over the kings of the earth". America is this superpower, NOT the Vatican!

I think it is funny how he say that anyone who interprets the mystery Babylon any different is a "false prophet". In my opinion this is a very bad interpretation of scripture. He might be right, after all it is a mystery and its hard to be sure one way or the other concerning it. But the fact this guy would go as far as to call people who believe differently false prophets in my mind places him firmly in the position himself.

England is certainly in league with Mystery Babylon but not actually Mystery Babylon.
