Yea cool I live in kittanning right beside the Allegheny river and across there is the b and p main line they also opened a new siding which local manufactures come in trucks with pellets loaded into covered hoppers this is know as roadside loading I will try to get a vid for ya also we get coal trains often from the quarry down the road not to far away that's were they get there coal at we mostly get b and p sd45s and gp38s with ex allegheny rr thrown in from time to time I will see if I can v
Sorry, those hoppers are actually light blue. I believe they are from the old Rock Island Railroad. I believe the Bessemer and Lake Erie Railroad purchase them a long time ago and then sold them to the Buffalo and Pittsburgh Railroad.
nice catch! thats awesome they went thru during the day. Usually i only hear it go through around midnight anymore.
