Reel around the fountain is possibly the greatest song ever recorded. It's just so beautiful. if I could ever create something that perfect I'd be a very happy and satisfied man but I don't think I ever will. I bought this album on cassettte back in the early 80's when I was still at school and it sounds better now than it did back then. And I shed a tear when I listen to the hand that rocks the cradle, I didn't get it back then but now I get it and it all makes sense.

I've spent a few hours working through some of these full album uploads from Beatles to Nirvana to Radiohead. This is the first album with absolutely no childish arguments or any other such triviality, that made me unbearably happy.

One of my Desert Island Discs, can I suggest that you buy this in the remastered box set £30.00 for all the albums, I have just bought it, Johnny Marr has done a wonderful job all the albums sound awesome, Guitars and Bass are even better than the originals, magnificent stuff.

@lkjhb1 the only thing that sounds a little different to me is that this version of 'reel around the fountain' is in a different key than the version i'm familiar with...perhaps its at a different speed?

@sneakydogz1 I have this album on vinyl. Sounds the same, except this one doesn't have the hissing and popping.
