  • Im more of a death metal screamo type but ive been getting into jazz lately. And this sounds really good . And i was wondering what guitars you would say would be good for a bigginer jazz player like me

  • @play3r57pr0nz

Hi mate, you can have a jazzy tone with quite every guitar, rollin' down 3/4 or more the tone knob and playin' with the neck pickup (better with an humb...)...but if u want a real jazz box you could try the Cort Yorktown, a really nice and affordable jazz guitar, or the more expensive Peerless JazzCity or Monarch. Just a little tip, if u buy a real jazz box, try to change the strings with electric guitar strings, you'll loose a little bass and mid, but u'll find it easier to play

  • hi i want to start jammin jazz but i don't know wich backin tracks are common standartd to begin with

    can you tell some please?

    thanks !

  • @morrixon2

Neither do I mate, 'cause I'm not a jazz player, I think that u should check for easy jazz backing tracks on internet and start with these mate. (I've started this way ^_^)

  • fabulous :D , the name of the song please ?????

  • @kmuniz

Hi mate, I'm glad that u enjoyed it !! The name is Jazzery, it's an impro that I've played over a jazz backin' track !! Thx for watchin! ^__^....and there's a little of White Christmas in the middle...

  • This tone is amazing!

  • I just hope my tribute gibson Les Paul on b.o. will sound that good. Perfect reverb as well. The tribute also has p-90's as well. I would love another catchy bit like that again. What is it any ways?? Sounds familiar... What kinda amp is that?

  • pretty catchy tune..

  • @bonjourtag

Thanks a lot mate, thx for watchin' !! :D

  • love the sound man!

does it feel just as good as it sounds? 'cause im really thinking of buying a les paul studio, and i love that colour. :D

    cheers

  • @ilovebluessolos

HI mate, first of all thx a lot for watchin' !! What could I say, this baby is simply perfect (imo)...this one is a really expensive 1956 reissue with P90, but as u can see from my page I do love Studios too..but I don't think that Gibson produces a GoldTop Studio, maybe u should buy a Traditional ( really nice and with the 57 and 57plus pickups !! )

    Greetings !!

  • wow mate this was perfect, an elegant and smooth playing! i hope that i will hear more of this :)

  • @debeli7

    I bet a ton!

  • @SuperJaykay93

You won mate ! It was expensive but it a real joy to play !! :D

  • Oh crap, your profile says you're in Italy. Solamente un poquito mas largo, bud.

  • @JamaisMEC

It would an honour to jam with you mate, but I think that we're a little too far....but I've got a lot of relatives in the USA, ( mainly in CA) so, maybe one day :D....Thx again for watchin' my videos !!

  • Where the hell are you, Azrahel dude? I wanna jam...got a nice Hamer Echotone needin' a playdate.

  • This is nice keep up the good work :D im getting the same guitar this weekend :D that makes me like it more :O

  • Thanks a lot mate, you're goin' to buy a wonderful guitar :D !

  • I got a les paul studio, how do u get that amazing sound out of ur 57' or is it your amp, please help me to get that tone. NCIE PLAYIN

  • Hi mate, try to roll down the tone to 5, use the neck pickup and set the volume at 8 or 7, I was playin with a J Station, non amp, but u should set the controls this way, bass 8 or more, mid on 6 or 7, treble not more than 3 or 4 and a little reverb!

    Thx for watchin'!!

  • Fine job! Keep on playing such a nice music.

    Greetings!

  • ciao bravissimo !

  • Ciao, grazie mille, anche se sinceramente, almeno in ambito "jazz" mi considero un "aspirante principiante"...!

  • awesome. I'm looking to play jazz on a les paul - which pickups/guitar do you recommend? Also, what's your amp set up? sounds great.

  • Hi mate, first of all thx, then...i really like the Gibson 57 and 57plus they're warm and really suitable for different styles, from classic rock to hard rock or blues and jazz....but this is my opinion obviously :)

I don't use an amp but an old j station, give it a try if u'll find one!

    Cheers.

  • Sweet playin man!

  • Thx a lot friend ;)

  • E' vero, non è mai troppo tardi per imparare. Mi sembra che tu ci stia riuscendo benissimo...

  • Grazie mille per l'incoraggiamento :)
