@watchensee You're right. I have seen lots of "stuff" in my time but only ever had one incident were my dogs refused to enter a building. Animals have a keener sense of the world around them and if something isn't threatening why would they react? I have lots of animals (cats, dogs, horses, hens, sheep) and in a busy set up like a riding school there is no reason a horse should pay any real attention to benign "ghost".
@UnderManiac It depends. If the horses can see ghosts as they are then they'd just see them as another human, why would they get spooked if they do not understand the concept of what a ghost is? The only reason I could see a horse being spooked by a ghost is if the ghost was doing something that would startle the horse or put it on edge. My cat used to growl at other humans if she saw one out the window, dont know why, but one night she was on my bed staring at the wall and growling. Eerie lol.
@Red23791 Actually, There was no ghost in the video, it's just a trick of light and shadows. Your cat was probably hearing a mouse or squirrel in the wall, or something scratching on the outside. They have keen hearing. Don't be too quick to decide it's a ghost or some other worldly phenomenon without considering a more earthly explanation as well.

Something I have learned is that it's something you have to experience, it's almost impossible to tell an experience and expect someone to be able to get the same feeling or understand. @101tonywhite It's a part of the human psyche to find patterns in things. We will readily see a person, face or body, where there really is none. It's called Pareidolia. That's why we recognize shapes in clouds, but I really doubt there are really cloud trains, cloud puppies, or cloud penises (I saw that one on the way to work one day). Too many uneducated people believing in nonsense.

@101tonywhite I do love ghost stories, even though ghosts don't exist. I like trying to figure out what is really happening, from a skeptic's point of view. Look up infrasound. It could easily be the reason people see apparitions in the corner of their eye and/or have an ominous feeling that there is someone else, unseen, in the room with them. The mind's suggestibility is another explanation. You gotta watch Derren Brown videos on here. He's a talented magician and hypnotist, amazing.
