  • Nice vid. I've subbed. Joe

  • cool beans! thanks! (should that be pronounced New Joisey Joe? hehehe)

  • Wow! Yread efects on fading one clip in to another! It went great with the music. Kudos, you just got another teen subscriber ^_^ Have a great week.

  • thanks for the subbie, I appreciate it- I'm glad you enjoyed!

  • your one beautiful lady! And very talented as well, nice work!

  • thanks Sandy, I have great edting software <b>;=)

  • How did you get that blurred effect on your face? I don't think I can do that with my windows movie maker. That effect could make even me look beautiful...Syd

  • I am very thankful for my face's best friend, Sony Vegas!! unfortunately movie maker doesn't have the same stuff (my earlier vids as examples - pre-glow effect!!aughh!!) lol

    Lesley :)

  • Breathtaking! I love OPERA! And have a place on my Playlist for only that. The modern swing is nice. I have this CD. You re stunning and an artist! Have a great day and thank you for posting up this Video. Keep them coming! :: skips out leaving a trail of pedals back to her Channel:: becca @->-----

  • thanks dear! :)

  • You should have it now!

  • approved, watched and commented! nice!

  • Thank you so much! I'm glad you posted this. Ahhhhhhh! Classical music!

  • That was beautifull! I would like, with your permission, to post a video response. It has the most moving piece of music I've ever heard in it. It "moves me to the core" as you so powerfully put it.

  • thanks! I'd love to see your response! :)

  • You did such a beautiful job with this as always. I'm groggy from living out of suitcase these past days and watching this brought me back to center. Thanks.

  • thank you - I loved the lilac festival! I bet there was a wonderful perfume in the air!

  • An hour's gone by and I'm still here!

  • well, the folks are friendly. Can I get you something to drink? Popcorn?

  • That sounds excellent. Better yet, do you know how to make some kikin' italian food, since you speak it and all. Do you know spanish as well, or just a bit?

  • 1. I was a professional chef for many years, so I think yes - my husband, who's Italian, says so anyway!!

2)I lived in Spain when I was a teenager, so I understand quite a bit (also very similar to Italian)- but cannot speak it anymore :(

  • I speak Spanish, fairly well, but I'm not good enough to completely understand when my wife (Puerto Rican) and her friends talk 90 mph. Studied quite a bit b4 meeting her.

  • I'm the same with Italian , although since I live here I understand it quite well now

  • A professional chef--cool. Do you do vids on recipes or a website? Oh, my wife just found out she has diabetes (mildly) and has begun to eat healthy--me too, but we love good food, just better to be healthy and we could use the weight loss, fo' sho'.

  • I cook too much, and eat too much ..I'm a total foodie...but I eat quite healthily...probably could cut down on the icecream :(

sorry about your wife...sometimes the diabetes disappears with a diet change, so I wish you both success with that

  • Thanks. I'll look through your vids to see what all you have but I'll have to go shortly. You're not a chef anymore?

  • No, I haven't been for many years. Too much work! I was so burned out after cooking for thousands that I didn't cook for a long time. I love it now, but only for my husband and friends. I am planning a cooking video or two though!

  • I'm better at hacking and burning than cooking and creating. Lol. Nah, but I have a limit and I have to closely read recipes to have success. I'm not good at slicing--I have to use a mandolin or a vidalia.

  • I've hacked and burned plenty lol ..wish I had a mondolin!

  • Is that the way it's spelled? They're worth it, although I just have a cheapie.I want a better one. I gotta go but you can comment. Thanks, friend.

  • NO! I realized I did a typo after I hit the button ...you were correct LOL

  • Now let me reload and see if you've answered. That's a thing we do on edenmaz'es vids.

  • I know - it sure has made a difference since youtube upgraded the comments feature

  • Is that good or bad? I guess both--dunno.

  • I'd sure like to be able to do video effects like you. This is nice--cool. I wish I could learn to do stuff like that. I can't get WMM to even work.

  • Thanks for that - it depends on the software you use. I staretd out with WMM - but it's very very basic and crashes all the time (grrrr) ...then I 'graduated' to Sony Vega 7 and Adobe Afetr effects. My audio editing software is Adobe Audition - but the most important is Sony Vegas. Very complex at first but now I LOVE it and would never go back!

  • Are these expensive?

  • that's the downside. Yes - but my husband is in the business :)

  • lucky you. :-)

  • The downside? I don't understand, getting the software cheap is a downside or were you talking about something else?

  • WOW... You are amazing!!! Thank you for this inspirational piece!

  • thanks Gina - YOU inspire ME!

  • "Was it all just a dream?" I must admit to have the extreme pleasure of first discovering the Flower Duet while discovering love, and then hearing it performed live not long after. The heart sings. Thank you

  • That's a wonderful comment and sounds like...a beautiful story for a video!!

    thanks! Lesley :)

  • Thank you for this tranquil moment Lesley ... beautiful work.

  • you're quite welcome...thanks for that compliment!

    Lesley xx

  • Ahhhh! At the risk of being redundant, let me just say, beautiful video, beautiful subject and beautiful music. Shine on beautiful star!

  • ....and from an artist! I think I'm ready for my close up Mr. DeMille! Thanks DaliG

  • Beautiful music. tells about one's character I think.

    inspiring.

  • I wish I had more time to listen! But those moments when I can are precious. Thanks Jeroen :)

  • That was very beautiful!

    (((Hugs))) to you...

    Paula

  • So nice to her from you Paula! I hope you're doing well,, and thank you!

    Lesley

    xx

  • It has occurred to me, thanks to this fantastic video, that in almost all of your vids, you seem to be leading us in one type of dance or another. Whether its opera or disco, the rhythm here always seems to move me.

    BRAVA!

  • I swear I replied to this already....so now the repartee won't be as 'clever' ...that's a big compliment coming from Mr. Remembers-Every-Minute-Detail- down to the mTm font and every line from every great show you thought you forgot. I get half of my ideas from YOU!

  • You'z kiddin', right? Girl, you have enough creative juices flowing over there to inspire a gaggle of other channels. So I'll take that as the ultimate compliment.

By the way, I think it's time that Vlogger's Block be added to the English dictionary.

  • Oh- I thought it was already, along with such terms as 'favorited', or, fav'd for short.

  • Breathtakingly exquisite!!

    Hugs~Nancy

  • aww, thanks Nancy! :=)

  • The creative log jam has been broken! Very nice g/f! Hugs~Sheryle

  • I hope! It's taking up space in my brain and hard drive! lol

    xx L

  • Most agreeable!

  • thank you! :)

  • One of the first videos I've viewed today.. thought I'd start with a bit of CLASS.. and I was right.. this must simply be one of the best videos I have ever seen on youtube.. and I'll stop there, I need not say more.. I'm just enjoying life right now..

  • I've got a Gnewsflash for you -you are too kind! thank you !

    :)

  • No, YOU're too kind.. Forgot to tell you you are my 100th subscriber... so THANK YOU yet again.. :D

  • woo hoo! I finally was able to do that--I'm usually number 101, 51 etc...It's a lucky day! :)

  • I'm proud (proud??) to say I was subscriber number 69 at thefrozenghost's channel. Of course, the milestone might have been more fun for him had a female Tuber shown up at that moment instead of me, but hey, ya get what ya pay for (and I'm extremely cheap).

  • When I first looked this comment It wasn't in the right indent yet so I was thinking it was on the wrong video! LOL I was thinking...what in the heck is he telling me about frozenghost and 69? huh? so funny when you read this stuff out of context! hehehehe

  • Such a nice start to the morning.

  • thanks dear - good morning to you, too :)

  • Very creative 5*.

  • thanks mrbojangles! (I was hoping to unbreak the creative block - maybe I've succeeded?)

  • I enjoy your videos so much.

  • likewise my dear

  • Wow, this video is really great! The light effect comes really awesome here as also the wind in your hair at one scene.

  • thanks Dottore! I appreciate your comment. :)

  • Wow. Amazing video!! Beautiful woman...beautiful woman!! I love the effect with the music when it was playing in your headphones vs. in your "head" if that makes sense. The slo-mo hair blowing was a nice touch. A bit like an 80s music video?! Love the music!!!

  • wow thanks - your comments are always so nice! -You have a real eye for detail Gary... I was kind of going for hat 80'ish feel (which I didn't think I pulled off) - and my favorite part was the headphone bit. I ran the music through adobe effects to have the tinny earphone sound.

  • Oh you totally pulled off the 80s feel. For some reason, it made me think of Knoits Landing (I've been watching too many of curt's videos) or a video by Heart!

  • haha - I know - Curt often reminds me of things I think I wanted to forget..lol

Wish I could sing like Ann Wilson!

  • LOL....You kind of reminded me of Nancy Wilson (she's the blonde one, right?)

  • yes....and thanks for THAT (she sure married well !)

  • Yeah, to that writer, right? The Rolling Stone guy who Almost Famous was about? Anyway...Gotta fly...its 6:25 AM here...and I need to leave for work. Yikes!

  • yep, Cameron Crowe....I think he wrote Fast Times at Ridgemont High and Jerry McGuire.

have a good day at work...oh that reminds me...I have to work TOO ! ciao Gary

  • Thank you for that lovely and ethereal piece. I loved the overlapping images and their movement. Sometimes in the simplest of ideas comes complicated emotional responses. Keep up the great work.

  • thank you for that very nice comment..it's nice when people see notice the details and zero in on the emotion you're trying to capture.

    -Lesley

  • That is a stunning piece of music, always loved it myself :)

  • yep - me too- this piece may be overplayed in advertising but the opera itself is not that well known, nor the composer.

  • Cool! I love Twisted Sister!

  • I knew you would dig that my favorite hair band friend!

  • Ah, the hair bands days. Actually, it's a wonderful video that reminded me to go back and listen to some Martin Sexton, who I had left out of my CD player for a few months now. He's about my favorite singer/songwriter. Thanks for that!

  • Thanks Carl...that's a big compliment. Now I have to check out who in the heck Matin Sexton is. :(

  • He's worth checking out. He was a busker on the streets of Boston for years. His music is gospel-folk-rock-blues and the voice is just plain amazing.

  • there are many videos on YT!!

  • How absolutely lovely! When you find her, let her know I love her!!!

  • Me too! (sometimes) and I've been looking for her everywhere! :)

  • You have beautiful eyes. I love the music. hugs, Chris

  • thanks Chris - hugs back!

  • Girl you look gorgeous! :D

  • special effects are my friend!

  • Nah... I would say real beauty... Be happy and proud, there's nothing wrong about that :)

  • muah! xx

  • This is also one of my favorite Opera Songs. Does move one's very soul:) Thanks for sharing/

  • it's one of those peices used in many films and ads that no one knows what it's from, but it somehow captures me and gives me a sort of music euphoria -

    thanks for commenting!

    Lesley :)

  • Always the Artist. You always take me to a higher level! You send a message and emotion

  • me- Artist witha capital 'A' - You, my frioend (and cohort) are an A R T I S T

    xx

  • I'll have to agree with Brian, and all the other's comments... you're killer girl, you have to teach me how you do it!!!

  • hehe you comment made me giggle because you should see me 'behind the scenes' trying to edit - I have no idea what I'm doing!! :D

  • then you're a quick study m'dear, cuz your vids are awsome!

  • Beautiful!

  • aw shucks thanks :)

  • All I can say is what I feel: you are f**king gorgeous and that video reflects your beauty!!!! xx

  • finally - you left of the L ! :)

    xx

  • I am saving some up!!

  • two words - duct tape.

  • mm mmmm mmmm! xx

  • That's better now.

  • but I don't want a brazilian on my beard!!!

  • ouch

  • Maybe I should try this. My mind has been stuck in block limbo lately :-)

  • I'll let you know if it works! :)

  • Much appreciated! :-) And I didn't say, great editing work.. I still feel very much in the minors when it comes to that LOL :-)

  • thank you - and are you kidding? I'm gonna steal ideas from YOU! LOL

  • LOL *blush

  • Oh I should be in bed but now I'm glad I stayed up. Masterclass. You have such a great smile it must make anyone who sees it smile because it comes not just from your mouth but your eyes (and therefore soul) going to bed now with a smile. Hugs, Lesley xx

  • that's a good Idea Lesley- I was going to upload and hit the pillow but here I am...nighty night!

    xx

  • A very artistic looking video, Lesley. I'd say your musical tastes are quite a bit more ecletic than mine. I really liked it though. Creative logjams SUCK. I have an ongoing parania/inferiority complex about them and have had since somewhere around my 25th or so video. It's one reason my vids are so varied. Good ideas are pretty hard to come by so you can't really turn a blind eye to *anything* if it seems like a good idea.

  • thanks Blink...I do have a huge range of music I listen to - right now I've been getting back into the classics - I have such a giant collection of music that I sometimes neglect some of it and the classical section was lonely!

    music to Ziz by!

  • Was there sound with it? I'll have to watch it again as my ears and eyes were not synchronised!

  • perhaps you need those special glasses with the hearing aid attached?

  • I got there in the end by closing my eyes so I wasn't distracted by the goddess on my screen

  • like I said...GLASSES

  • I had one - full of whisky

  • case closed

  • You have fantastic video editing skills not to mention great taste in music. Now for a good vintage and cheers to you dear lady :)

  • that's a real compliment coming from someone who has exquisite editing skills. Now about that vintage....

  • Have you named the perfume?

  • Eau du Cul De Sac !

  • Absolutely exquisite choice...Am I correct in assuming that product placement will be high-end market only?

  • I'm working out an arrangement with Wallmart now!

Of course, there'll be merchandising as well - hats, mugs, t-shirts, you know - nuttin' but class all the way!

  • Ah, but when it comes to perfumes, the thing that REALLY matters, is the presentation - bottle shape and coler, packaging, free gift bag. Have you considered?

  • Well, there is another deal in the works regarding the bottle shape...Goodyear and Michelin are fighting over it now. I'll, of course, be the model.

  • Of course....and a truly wonderful model you will be...

By the way, good vid Lesley...nicely put together as always!
