I said long ago I would never buy a new car again.I have changed my mind.Currently the Leaf is in front,but I'm looking.No hybrid,100% electric.I will also keep a gas vehicle.Sadly,where are the American car markets?Stuck bragging about 25-26 mpg or the Volt with a 35 mile electric range then back to 4 or 5 dollar gas.Way to step out.Where is their 100% electric?If this market would take off,and I hope it does,drill baby drill could become why baby why.

@uoyuoy444 There real...believe it. I was in Shenzhen China last month, BYD electric vehicles are being used as taxi's. It's interesting to note BYD is one of the largest manufactures of batteries in the world.
And another thing: The saddest point: The government uses its own people like 'cheap labor force' not respecting the human rights, with ridiculous salaries to be competitive... and the people (sad) believes everything... from that government. The salary should increase with the economy (parallel) but they avoid it... Nobody should buy those cars... Another point: They started selling cars in South America just because they know S.America doesn't ask for 'safety', not because of 'nice' reasons.
Are you kidding... no? The best cars? They already could but they don't... and they won't... They even don't care about the safety. And please, try to avoid comments like 'they will improve', especially because if they are able to copy the design, technology, etc., they can copy everything about 'safety'... it's simple: Less price and if the market ask for 'safety' they copy it (then, the price is higher and of course, I wouldn't buy it)... They just don't care about the human life...
I would like to open a dealer here in the USA when the time comes.
