What I want to happen:

Vanitas returns in KH3 due to Ventus's heart surviving within Sora, causing Vantus's dark half, Vanitas, to return along side Xehanort.

Roxas has a Piece of a Heart. Ventus's Heart, Which was broken after *spoiler* he destroyed the "Kye"Blade, with Ventus's Darkness-Vanitas. The Broken piece of his Heart was accepted into Sora, Giving Sora the ability to Wield the Keyblade. When Sora Became A Heartless in Kingdom Hearts 1, the piece of Ventus's Heart that was lost within Sora was released, and it attached itself to Sora's nobody, Roxas, Giving Roxas The Altered Appearance, rather than having Roxas look more Like Sora. @OtakuNeni soras theme fits him, I mean he is optimistic, so while everyone has themes that have more of a melancholy type feel soras theme is more upbeat which actually fits his whole character its not horrible in the least

@Quizboy9 No. Vanitas looks like Sora because Sora's newborn heart joined with Ven's, at the time incomplete, heart. Their union affected Vanitas by making him look like Sora.

I found the Final Vanitas easy on critical, and I did no grinding. I can even beat him in about 40 seconds (including the heart smash bit) but only using Ven's Final Finish command :p

Or are you talking about the second fight with Aqua? that was pretty hard with critical when I hadn't leveled up much at all.

He looks like sora because. When Sora was a kid he met Ventus and Ventus has a dark side and I guess when Ventus' Dark side came out he thought of sora and that made his dark side look like that.

@MarioandLuigi201 because Ventus served as Master Xehanorts apprentice andat the time Venns heart was connected with Sora's(sora's heart was giving him strength). one day Xehanort took Ven to the Keyblade graveyard to fight Heartless. Ven lost. So xehanort unlocked his(Vens) Heart thus creating Vanitas. since Vens heart was connected to Sora, Vanitas gained a resemblance to Sora.
