looks a bit like Captain Scarletts car in that colour!...i was really lucky when i owned mine because Chris Foulds Lotus specialist was only about 2 miles from my house.I used to go round and scrounge advice off him.
I used to love my excel..they really needed to be fuel injection though.the carbs were a bit old hat.I used to service my own as brakes were Toyota and a lot of the parts had lucas numbers on them so you could order them directly from them.Great cars and could have easily handled more power.Nice example...full leather..?
I have two Elites here in Cali. Too bad we never got the Excel here in the States. Plenty of Esprits though.
