The difficult part is finding a way not to shower in this. Fluoride bathes were once given to people with hyperactive thyroid. One shower is equal to 8 glasses of water I've been told. Mass medication is not the answer, it is doing far more harm that good. I have hypothyroidism... it's no laughing matter and believe me, I'm mad as hell over this fluoride issue.
@DianeDi you should join FAN(fluoride action network) .org. I am a member there and we are all fighting to get this SHIT banned. Prescription fluoride treatments nearly KILLED me:(
@fluoridetoxin I just sent you a note about FAN... ;o) I should have read my comments first. I actually was corresponding with Dr. Hardy Limeback. He sent me documents that I forwarded to our Health Officials. Our Health Officers are useless and they only listen to Health Canada, who is corrupt and very pro fluoride. FAN is really working hard and this is one organization I actually support financially with a donation each year. We will win eventually - we just have to inform others.
Is that to say they will ban it or it will be largely viewed as a knee jerk reaction to isolated cases where short term and long term side effects and negative health issues arise? I don't trust these people basing their entire catalog of reasoning that fluoride is beneficial on a single series of "controlled" studies on the preconceived notion that it is good for teeth. I believe there is MUCH more than just fluoride in our water.
There is more than fluoride in our water, that's for sure, but fluoride will do the most long term damage to our health. I am actually considering submitting a "human rights complaint" as it has effected me personally. Fluoride has been a hot topic since the '50's and what the phosphate/aluminum industries would have had to pay to dispose of this toxic waste, they now receive profits fro selling it to water treatment plants.
There will be a long, uphill battle to have this eliminated from our drinking water. Too many people, doctors, dentists, scientists, health officials, etc., would actually have to admit they were wrong. No one has been able to produce one scientific report statement that this is not harmful to health, but only proof the other way, but it is not acknowledged by the officials, such as Health Canada and related agencies. They also take the caked power and sell it to farmers for their crops.

I love how individuals who oppose fluoridation are singled out and given more credibility than entire scientific organizations.
Young children don't need fluoride - True
Fluoride works when applied to teeth, not swallowed - True
The point is that it's meant to strengthen adult teeth, and while drinking, most is wasted, some does get absorbed by teeth.
And then he starts going on about contaminants, everything has traces of contaminants, note how he never says how MUCH is going in.
