FOR ALL SEA TURTLE LOVERS, (ages 0 to 90) comes a sweet little book you will want to read again and again: I’LL FOLLOW THE MOON. Baby green sea turtle is asleep in his nest way below the beach’s surface. Suddenly he opens one eye – and starts to stretch…crack, crack goes his egg and soon he’s free. Up he digs, then across he crawls, finding the sea by the flickery moonlight on the waves. Mama is waiting in the deep! Can he find her? Read and see!
i agree babfish13, but there are some good dive story sites on the net too. Try the myscubastory site. They have real life dive stories and dive accident videos. Put myscubastory into google, and its the first result.
i no you would not believe me at all but they spotted a mermaid here and ya i know what you are going to say :" mermaids are not real" what ever but they did spot one here . humans when there in mermaid outfits they move there legs up and down but in the video that i saw witch was very true the girl aka *mermaid* was not moving her legs at all she was not bending them. and for a fact when humans have mono fins they move but not to much in the video they fins were moving like a wave
The coral reefs have so much beauty & complexity, we are still learning & discovering so much. Coral reefs are dieing in many parts of the world, which gives us a glimse into our oceans health.....which is grim.
The oprah show talked about a swirl of garbage, plastics, etc. that is 90 ft deep & covers an area the size of Texus...unbelivable, but the ocean continues to be polluted at an alarming rate. Poluution, oil spills, radiation is killling our oceans & sealife.
~ Since the 60's, municipal water fluoridation has used hydrofluorosilicic acid, a waste byproduct from smoke stacks of aluminum and fertilizer plants, containing 23% sodium fluoride (rat poison), mercury, arsenic, lead, barium, cadmium, palonium 20 and other trace poisons. Water filters can't remove it, regardless of their claims. And, commercial pesticides are fluorides. So, between agri-run-off and waste water, our rivers perpetually poison our oceans. The banksters are poisoning our reefs.
Why do people have to talk about god on every youtube vid? O_O This is not church! For once in your life enjoy the beautiful world and quit thinking "oh god this, god did that!"
Anyway the great reef is one of the most beautiful places on earth. I would love to travel there one day and see it for myself with my fiance :) Australia<3
oh i can't wait to swim there!! such a great oppurtunity and i'm only a junior in highschool. marine biology is deffinately going to be my major for college. this is going to be my life
@danvsyou wow...you are so wise. i wish i could be as condescending as you. There truly is a place for people like you. And i wouldn't want to be on the wrong side of that guessing game when you do die.
My colleague Nicholas Carangi told me about this little gem. I certainly enjoyed the presentation with immense satisfaction. Nature should be treasured by all!
My all time dream is to go to Australia! Such a beautiful country! I personally think that the Great Barrier Reef is the most beautiful place on Earth! Such a shame that we humans are destroying it and killing all this beautiful animals!
It is so not true that the Great Barrier Reef is the largest structure. The world's largest terrestrial biome is the taiga, also known as the boreal forest. The average width of the taiga is about 1 200 km, tops. The endless forests takes 10 % of landmasses surface (approximately 2,3 mln sq. km). So don't fool the people, that the The Reef is the largest living structure.
so beautiful, I just wish to swim there and be free. It seems so relaxing! I wish I would live there with the fish and just swim around like a mermaid. -if they were real.
This was so great! It gave me so many facts! And I love the music. It matches the mood and reminds me how wonderful and amazing and mysterious the barrier reef is!
Hello everybody, let me show an easy way to make money online, when I lost a job, I have tried yourcashcow.info Works for me. It is very easy and the best thing is that they provide you full support and help, my sincere advice is to go there..I have tried many online jobs but that was the only that pays out ;)
no they did not. There is a one kilometer long scar but the reef is far longer than that. Left alone it will repair itself in a few years.
We are lucky to have these gorgeous coral reefs still. But they are vulnerable to many other things. Among these, rising temperatures, which of course, unlike the chinese ship, is not a localized problem. I have seen a lot of damage in the red sea. On the other hand...if the reefs were really that fragile; would they still exist?
This magnificent reef will be lost if we let Obama and Bush drilling for oil off our coast lines , these 2 crooks are willing to drill where ever they can.
9/11 was an inside job. The controlled demolition conspiracy theory suggests the collapse of the twin towers was not caused by the aircraft, but by explosive devices planted within the two towers. However, the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) admit that they have "no corroborating evidence for alternative hypotheses suggesting that the WTC towers were brought down by controlled demolition using explosives planted prior to 9/11".

mrsfalkenstein1985 2 years ago
I think you are making a terrible assumption...
The flood in the times of Noah wasnt soem tranquil flood...
The fountains of the deep broke open! this was the flood of all floods!
I think a lot of the marine life would die... hence the TONS of marine fossils we find through all the earth...
and the reefs of old would be badly damaged and have to start over, which is why the reef is only about 4200 years old...
hmm...
