im having problems with my 79 dodge truck... i tried to start it one day and i got nothing!! no headlights no juice what so ever, but if i jump the sylanoid it will crank and crank but wont fire??? my buddy said it was the ballist resistor so i changed it but it still wont start.....could it be the ignition switch???

you should of took the distributor out and put a drill on the rod to prime the oil pump before you started it i bet the lifters would of never ticked !!

@TheGreg7788 HMM INTERESTING I PULL THE DISTRIBUTOR OUT PUT THE DRILL ON THE ALLEN AND BAM I GOT OIL PRESSURE THE CAM IS LUBED AND LIFTERS THEN I PUT THE DISTRIBUTOR BACK IN AND RE TIME THE ENGINE ASSHOLE .. CHRYSLERS ARE DIFFERENT AND MORE COMPLICATED I KNOW GM IS VERY SIMPLE !!
