I had forgotten just how much this song moved me back in '99. I'm one of those big, silent stoic types that nobody ever suspects is very emotional, but this song, Tim McGraw's "Please Remember Me" and Alison Krauss' cover of "When You Say Nothing At All" had me crying rivers during a rather tragic and turbulent time in my life. Listening to it again ties my heart in knots as well as fill me with reminiscient joy...
I remember listening to this song when I was little and I hadn't heard it in a long time. This is the first time i had heard it in years. I could't help but smile and cry as I listened to it again.
i love you soooo much cousin! i know your gone from my arms kris but u will forever live on in my heart i will never forget you! you made me who i am today and i miss u like crazy cant wait till i can see you again! my life is continuing to enable you to live through me I LOVE YOU KRISTEN!!!!
If you could ever see this Cary I know you would remember the day I left you, I know that you know why this song was important in our lives at that time but even after 11 years I still love you and think of you. That was one long ride on that bike, I traveled 700 miles in one day to get you back .......
this song brought a tear to my eyes lost a wife and a mother all in one year and listening to this hit a soft spot in a heart made of stone ..thinks of them soft blue eyes tears from a pair of brown eyes ,and rekates the oldman who lost his angel.love comes n goes but theres always the memories that remain..thanks for sharing this song and words
This Reminds me of my great friend Clinton. Me and Clinton used to see how much food we could eat at Shoney's for breakfast. Then we would have to go to Lowe's and make a stop by the restroom. While we were in the stalls beside each other, this is the song we would sing together. We also sing this when we go fishing on his boat "THE CLINTONIAN"
any body know who sang what if i said with steve wariner can't find it i sure love that song so if any body knows or has any body heard it.i found it once but i don't see it here. and i don't know who she is.
this song makes me wanna cry. My daddy passed away on May 11, 2004 and that same day I was in the hospital with the little girl that I nanny that almost died and when she came to was at the same time I got a phone call about my dad dieing. :( Makes tear up now.

this song reminds me of the night when i got a birthday card from my grandpa who had passed away three days before (this was March 7th 2010). the tears that i cried were half joy, and half sorrow. that was the best birthday card i ever got, although i cried the rest of the night after i got it. I love you Grandpa! Thanks for the $40!! =,)
I love this song. I am about to have a niece so the last verse spoke to me. When Sophie is born I will remember those older women who passed away during my Sister-in-laws labor and have a prayer for them and their family.
