I can see how many people won't like it, it's one of those movies you either love or hate. I thought it was fantastic. A lot of dark humor which I love, a character who was totally unsympathetic, scenes of random violence....and Seth Rogen created one of my favorite characters of all time. This is Taxi Driver remade as a stoner comedy, so if that sounds like your cup of tea, I highly recommend it.

He's only funny is because his director for the movie he's in make's him do "funny" stuff. anyone can be funny in a movie. They're just funny because they're director tells them what to do that would seem funny in a movie. Pretty much the director or the screenwriter is the actual "funny" one, not particularly Seth Rogen.

Also the movie was about finding the streaker from beginning to end. And he did build the mall force by hiring that red hair guy. But yeah he did try to be a cop after Ray Liotta's character the cop drops him off in the ghetto and he trys to citizen arrest the kid when his dad(Danny MCBride aka Kenny Powers) and his drug gang roll up and about to kill Seth and he whips out his billy jack and whips their asses"I just killed 5 crack heads" which was totally unexpected. Dude I liked this movie. This movie was hillarious. Denis!!?? Hitting people with skateboards? Yes Seth rogen and his funny sidekick get all fucked up and just start doing whatever they want beating the shit outta 13 yr old punks punching them in the face and smacking over the head with a skateboard at 15mph lol. A lot of good and funny fighting in this movie. He nailed like 20 cops in the head with a flashlight at the big standoff in the end which watching was hillarious.
