Hey I know this is an old video, but I would like help on how to remove tealos from my phone. I downloaded it a couple months ago, after it was pulled from the website, heheh, but i don't like how sluggish it is. So again how can i uninstall it?
Speaking of dropping your Palm Centro in the toilet my daughter actually dropped my wifes Palm Centro in the toilet about 6-9 months ago. We thought it wouldn't work anymore but actually we opened the back and dried it the best we could and in a very short time was able to turn it back on and use it like nothing happened. At first you could see the water damage on the screen but in a short time it just disappeared and it looks great. She is still using it today with no problems. Great phone.
i had my foor a year i did the unthinkable to droped it the pool droped scraped it on a rock ect still have it(: nd it looks so fat but it really isnt. and the key bored is small but idk its like awesome to txt on plus it has a touch screen so very nice
@blasi69er I use the palm centro and I do not have a data/internet plan. I only have voice mail and cell phone usage. I do not have a texting plan nor do I have the internet plan.
But texting is available and internet is available on a per use charge. So, even though I don't have the text plan or the internet plan, I can still use the Centro as a cell phone. I get charged .20 cents every time someone text me. I don't even use the internet so I don't get charged. The phone works.
i have this phone and love it, for sprint 70 dollars a month and i have unlimited everything, and i get to call and cell phone anytime for free with nights and weekends starting at 7, fuck verizon
I love this phone! I've had it for 8months now. I don't have a data plan, but all of the apps make up for not having one.
I'll have to disagree about long battery life. I have to charge it every night.
I agree that this is an excellent phone for texting. They keyboard is not a problem for me at all. In fact, I love it. It takes a while to get used to, but now I type really fast. If you're a heavy texter, consider this phone. The interface is great =)
Yeah I don't have a data plan either. It's not really necessary. There are plenty of apps that make up for the lack of internet. Plus, it's a great way to save $30 each month. It is a bummer that I can't send or receive pictures, videos, or sound clips though.
Wow, you have very informative reviews of your phones. I find it interesting that you are so young yet are able to look at the utility of a phone rather than the "coolness" of a phone. Great job on the review, keep it up.
you know...when i watch videos or play music ..I'm looking at a few hours of time on the phone before I have to charge...If i use it as a phone its fine...lasts all day ..... I love this phone.
ok, guys u cam pm me 4 anything, i hav tealOs whit KeyGen, twitter apps, p tunes deluxe keygen, i hav all my apps maxed out and i havent pay 4 anything, so just pm me
FYI: I just ordered this phone from Verizon's web site, late this afternoon. The phone was free, with a 2 year contract, and they offered free, overnight shipping too. My order was processed and shipped within 2 hours of placing the order. Estimated monthly bill: 68.99 (before the hidden fees, of course) I wasn't too sure about the phone, when I ordered it, but it looks like I might like it. Thanks for the video.
I currently use a BlackBerry Bold, it's a great phone, battery lasts for 2 days with the 3G on, which in my case is pretty impressive. I wanted to try out the Palm Centro, but I couldn't because my network didn't provide a good service for it.
As of right now, you need a data plan to purchase or activate the palm centro. They changed it from a pay per kb option to a definitive Data plan in November 2008.
Actually I watched your first palm video and it convinced me to get one. I'll have mine in about 3 days. Your very informative and interesting. Keep it up! Your should have a career in product reviews ha. :D
Nice review, I just thought of something. If you think your 1st gen iPhone's speaker isn't loud enough, you can poke a hold through the bottom of the speakers. What they did the speakers is that they have a piece of membrane over the 2st gen which they wanted to keep dust away, but it ruins the sound.
The battery is good? I love my Windows Pocket PC PDA. But the battery is just terrible. I speak on the phone for at least an hour at a time, maybe a 3 calls each day that are long a lot of SMS's and a few short calls. With that given how long would you estimate the battery would last on a palm centro? one more question does it come with any office software?
