In 1988 Seoul Olympic, they should have had both Sohn and Nam run together and light the torch in the opening ceremony. They both won gold and bronze. It is so sad that Mr. Nam got so little attention and respect. South Koreans are just so mean....only cares about GOLD medals. In 1992 Summer Olympic Games, another Korean athlete won the gold. His name is Hwang Young Jo. Hwang who confessed his role model was Mr Sohn dedicated his gold medal to Mr Sohn.

Mr. Sohn won the gold medal at 1936 Berlin Olympics and he shook hands with the the most infamous human being Adolf Hitler. Bronze medal was given to Mr. Nam, another Korean athlete.
