On this flute, and any keyless irish flute, the two holes at the bottom are mostly for looks. Some people say that's what gives it the right tone on the low notes... I don't know for sure.

the 2 holes at the bottom of the flute are for playing c sharp c natural.
you need keys added on to your flute to reach them

Love that tone you get from the Copley & Boegli flute. I have a 6-key D flute made by them and it's fantastic in every way. Good luck with it!
