  • What year is this?

  • ¡Me encanta! Yo voy a cuarto de viol´´in y tengo que tocar esta canción. Hay que estudiar la leche, os lo garantizo... pero el resultado podéis escuchar que merece la pena.

    un beso :)

  • don't feed the troll

  • I am playing this song now.

  • We are lucky to keep in touch with such high quality video!

  • точно в такива моменти се радвам, че съм човек, а не добитък. великолепие!!!

  • "Such a peaceful setting..." HARHARHARHAR this is the internet community we're talking about

  • @thedeathskittle - WE WERE HAVING A GOOD TIME, LISTENING TO MUSIC, DISCUSSING CONDUCTORS, ETC., UNTIL YOU STUMBLED YOUR SILLY ASS IN TRYING TO HARHARHARHARHARHARHARK UP A FUCKING HAIR-BALL, SO GO AWAY AND LICK YOU ASS SOME MORE Mr. DEADKITTYKAT, AND LEARN SOME DAMN MANNERS!

  • So lovely.

  • The tempo in this interpretation is perfect if you are just now sinking into a Valium buzz!

  • Oh god, is beautiful T_T

  • WHO THE HELL IS THE DAMN GUY WAVING THE LIL STICK AROUND, HE GONNA PUT HIS EYE OUT!

  • @jehovahuponyou the conductor

  • @TheCalvin1997 - IS NOT!

A CONDUCTOR RIDES A TRAIN AND MAKE SURE YOU HAVE YOUR LIFE PRESERVER AND TICKET!

SEE THERE, YOU GOTTA GET UP A LOT EARLIER IN THE AFTERNOON TO FOOL OLE JEHO!

  • @jehovahuponyou idk if you are joking or not, but you should know this. you are right, a conductor is in a train, but music wise, it is the person who makes sure everyone is on tempo, and makes suggestions to keep everyone playing together.

  • @cnygng85 - YOU SAY, "idk if you are joking or not,..." - I SAY, "I WILL PRAY FOR YOU!".

BESIDES, A CONDUCTOR IS A SUBSTANCE WHICH WILL FREELY PASS ELECTRICITY.

YOU DON'T GET OUT MUCH, DO YA?

  • Very enjoyable listening...

  • Amazing just Amazing

  • I thought that this was a keyboard concerto. Could somebody explain?

  • @steamednotfried Bach wrote BWV1058 for keyboard and BWV1041 for violin. He had the habit of taking a piece and writing different versions of it for different instruments.

  • Exquisite; a master at work.

  • Amazing Just amazing

    Merci Boucouap 👍

  • Belíssima composição

  • una de mis favoritas

  • Simplemente hermoso!!!!

  • This list of comments is living proof of the beauty classical music has to break through all language barriers. We have Spanish, English, Japanese, and other languages posted. Such a peaceful setting.....

  • @darkscorpion197 Music is the only universal language.

  • @Wayavas1337 Actually that would be math. Music has it's own cultural practices and standards.

  • @OriginalBasaliskos Yes but you dont need to understand their practices or standards to enjoy music from the other side of the world.

  • This is one of the most well known composed music in history!

  • パパはイイね!と言っている。

    6月1日にコンサートで弾いたけど10月1日にも弾くから、少しずつ練習している。

    (ガイゲはやめない)

    それとdavidさんのコンサートも綺麗だね!

  • Cembalo concertante !!! :-))

  • soooo good!!

  • I'm just saying, if you have trouble playing the violin, is maybe because you press too much. Don't press down like you're trying to squash something, just press all the way till you get the string to the board. Same thing with the bow, just grab lightly, like you're holding a small animal.

  • This concerto is beautiful, I don't understand why it's not that known

  • piano? why?

  • The best composer of the history....

  • The 31 dislikes are from people who can't stand to hear it because it is so beautiful. Also, they are ignorant and don't understand that this music is heaven compared to the crap people play now.

  • Bach would be proud

  • for making musick of high quallity, you need 3 things: a good instruments, a great player, and a great composer...first 2 serve the last one....That's why Stradivarius violin plus David Oistrach plus Bach, make together a realy piece of haven....I hope I make myself understanded.....(Excuse My english)

    ...

  • Just something about Bach compositions... their purity of tone and Intricacy of melody cannot be compared.

  • @Vakasha very accurate description

  • excellent

  • a good performance

  • B, ¡te adorooo!

  • B. ¡te adorooo!

  • Oistrack the best...

  • 0:49 Someone just couldn't hold it in long enough.

  • I love this. Thank you for posting it - it gives me great hope and pleasure.

  • eeeeh, im going to play it tooo.. whoohh

  • I am playing this for nyssma and i am 14. its a level 5, which is the second highest level i can play. I am working on it to sound pretty good, but it is very tricky in some parts. if u have any advice, plz help me and let me know. But I love this, it sounds beautful. I have this audition thing in NY so thats what nyssma is.

  • I'm playing it in violin class now, but it is so hard to make it sound good like this! I definitely can't...

  • there should not be a conductor in fact.

  • I ADORE DAVID OISTRAKH PLAYING THIS PIECE WITH IMPROVISATIONS AS WELL

  • Those 31 people probably listen too much 'Friday'...

  • 31 people disliked this. It's so extraordinarily beautiful!!

  • incredible

  • Realy man, realy muzik all of the time.

  • 0:50 for the impatient

  • Oh. And its an excerpt. Not the whole thing. Only a page and a couple lines.

  • I am playing this at solo and ensemble in may on marimba. Its really fun. Especially the 32 notes part. :)

  • @flamtaps1 lol I did it on xylophone, and I got wayy to nervous on the performance and I messed up a lot and rushed a lot.

  • In my opinion Baroque string music has not yet been surpassed. That period was the apex of string music IMHO.

  • I always seemed to me Russian musicians have a special affinity with Bach. Oistrakh and Milstein on the violin, Rostropovich on the cello, the likes of Nikolayeva, Sokolov, Koroliov on the piano. Wonder why that is.

  • meu bofe

  • Does anyone know where I'd be able to obtain the sheet notes for this?

  • I played this for Indiana's Solo and Ensemble competition, and I took it to state yesterday. I got gold! The judge left me a comment saying she had listened to this piece several times, and I was the first one that played it like Bach. :)

  • @alexisebarton who are you trying to fool.

  • this piece is so much harder to master than you first think... so many little subtleties, but the way it all works together just makes your spine tingle

  • świetne !!!

  • świetne !!! ;D

  • O sa-l cint la un concurs!~!!!!!1:D

  • @TheMalinka578 Let us know whether you won!!!!

  • I love this music !

  • This performance is one of the best Bach i have heard, the soloist is amazing!

I am playing this piece at the moment and this has really helped me get an idea of what it can sound like if you practise hard!:)

  • This performance is one of the best Bach i have heard, the soloist is amazing!

  • I hate yes HATE this song!! It is utterly despicable!!!

  • ATTENTION!!!!

I love his performance! Please check my original version of the ta minor concerto!

I played violin and my friend played the organ!

Search Mika Krstic A minor violin concerto!

Comments are very welcome, please judge me hard!

  • This guy is the best ever. He playes like god and is ten times better or more then other musiciants.

he owners all others and has a sound that nobody could and had ever have, because he is the pro.

  • This guy is the best ever. He playes like god and is ten times better or more then other musiciants.

  • This guy is the best ever

  • Santo cielo !!! SUBLIME !!!!! Grazie ! Grazie infinite !

  • @31122051 you can speak italian?

    CIAO

  • @rusconiroberto OH you speak Italian?

    Because i do not.

  • Ralph Rusconi:

David is the best violin player that i ever heard , he was plaing at a n amazing level even at his younger age (5), I could practist thi spiece for ever and never get the sound as importand-interesting-coo as his. He is PRO..

  • David Oistrak is the best and my son is playing it right now and is pretty good.

David is the best and his sound breakes my heart .

  • nice piece, bach!!!

  • i have to learn this solo on marimba by this saturday xO

  • Pure beauté ,maîtrise absolue !

  • awesome play!!!

  • This is just too good.

  • For all of humanity's flaws, you've got to love a species that could create, perform, & appreciate works such as this.

  • @wordzly Yes, definitely one of our better traits!

  • @wordzly What about Animals As Leaders?

  • I wonder who are those 3% who disliked this performance. This is simply gorgeous.

  • @grig19799 I wonder too... I think they are just very stupid...

  • Amazing, no flaws. Oistrakh played this piece perfectly!!!

  • Personally I like the piano violin version better but this is good too

  • solo me pregunto : " ¿Qué tanto hace el director, si todos los músicos tocan con los ojos cerrados?

  • @Durmiendo23 Muy buena pregunta!!!!!

  • This is probably my least favorite work ever composed, but when it's played by Oistrakh, it's a masterpiece.

  • @malikrox

lol yeah and hamlet is a piece of shit but when mel gibson performs it it's genius

  • ♥Oistrakh and Bach♥

  • he looks like alcapone but he play likes god

  • @EDaRiOE ur an idiot. no one is better than god and anyone who thinks that should die in a hole. but yes he is good

  • @mingyfrog He never said he was better than god he said he was like him. Plus even if he said he was better he is entitled to his oppinion so theres no reason to critisise it.

  • @sheba131314 attaboy/girl

  • @mingyfrog dude, don't bring religion into it. Also, don't take it literally. Even more, take an expression lightly. Even if it's literal, people have a right to their opinions. Who cares, honestly. If you want to express your religious opinion, go to some conservative forum and get a moderator to make it a sticky topic.

  • @Omnom18 well said (by the way boy)

  • he looks like alcapone

  • RIP David Oistraj, teacher of the teacher of my teacher, him grand son is so orgullous

  • Thank you so much for uploading this wonderful Oistrach clip ... even all these years since his death and I fall in love each time with the warmth and perfection of his playing.

  • Thank you Cleopatra :-)

  • This concert is freaking hard at the third page but its fun to play it.

  • @jchang31 i KNOW BUT DO YUO LIKE IT?

  • i like it

  • wonderful!

  • Grazie Cleopatra, che meraviglia...!!!

  • I could practice this piece for years and still not fully grasp it. Bach was a genius. Brilliant composer--absolutely fantastic.

  • @evermorefire ah, give me a break...you just suck

  • is he using a baroque violin?

  • @haiz369 no, he doesn't

  • @haiz369 no his bow is just tight

  • It's amazing how the solo and the orchestra seem to fit together like a puzzle - they blend into the perfect musical masterpiece!

  • I am 11 and learning this piece.

  • @Kitagamimimi Nobody Cares

  • @Kitagamimimi Shut up

  • He's the master of Bach an Beethoven. =)

  • I am learning how to play this piece too.. I only had about a year of playing experiences and so far this piece is very challenging. Would anyone please give me some tips to how to practice for intonation when shifting or anything regarding your experience when learning a difficult piece (if possible concerto in A Minor =P )? Thank you.

  • I love this concerto!!!

lol funny they put a harpischord in an orchestra but rarely the piano, though I know it does give ut the baraoque feeling to it

  • very good record

  • I love this concerto. I have been using to practice for an upcoming concert. The guy rushes a bit in places, but still good :)

  • I love watching the bows of the violin section.....

  • this is so good!!!

  • This man is amazing! The piece is beautiful! Just played an excerpt for my audition this morning. :)

  • i just started learning this piece on marimba today! it's super hard on a keyboard

  • @excalibur675 it isn't that hard you just need to work out the sticking in a few places

  • @excalibur675 me too!! Casualidades...

  • Watch Daniel Lozakovitj from the swedish show "Talang". He has only been playing for 2,5 years and he is soo good! He says he want to be as good as David Oistrakh and I´m sure he will!

  • @hollyandivy I suppose Colin Davis

  • Una amiga q no veo hace años, tocará un solo d esta pieza cn su violin...esta super...mucho EXITO OLISSSSS n. n te ira super y 0 nervios heee n. n !!!

  • i'm trying to find the solo sheet music of this for piano. anybody have any idea where i could look?

  • it really cheers me up when I play it.

  • Actually, this is one of Bach's easier violin concertos, mostly based on the fact that it's in the easiest of minor keys, and it really doesn't shift all that much. Either way, still a beautiful piece of music.

  • @savethetrees433 If you're right, it is easy to play for those who know. But someone else has already done something similar? Nobody in this world to come close to the music of Bach. Greetings!!!

  • @DarkLoveFashion Oh definitely. Bach's music is easily the most brilliant music ever written, and I doubt it could ever be matched. His use of counterpoint is almost magical - nothing can really come close to him.

  • @savethetrees433 what about mozart, beethoven, chopin, debussy and all the others. they can come close to him, or beat him

  • @nimalakers24 don't forget paganini and tchaikovsky ;)

  • @spiderman123321 i know, i just can't spell there names.

  • @savethetrees433 I appreciate your comments. Greetings!

  • bellamente ejecutado
