  • Recycling? I guess it is. No offense but I prefer Kid Ramos' statement: "This ain't 'Retro', it's unfinished business".

    Whatever you want to call it, this version of the Junior Parker song is pretty classic stuff with Kim Wilson 'blowing the back off it' and the band sounding great.

  • You hear that Robert Jr Lockwood lick at 1:17/18? (Kim Wilson turns his head and nods in appreciation - maybe they talked about it and tried it out in rehearsal). Listen to the posting of Robert Jr playing "Aw Aw Baby", posted on Youtube by 9thWardBluezBox and you will hear Robert play that exact lick at 0:14. I love the tradition of each generation re-cycling the best of the blues.
