  • actually the interntet did start in the u.s and the concept began in france followed by switzerland but but into use in the u.s

  • The spoof on Monty Python was cute until I read the Lotus logo at the end and I realized the ethnocentricity was genuine. Yes, CERN in Switzerland should have been credited, so the Lotus brand became one more US "influence buy" instead of a creative participation in the dialogue of video on YouTube or elsewhere. Sad.

  • Can I point out that the Internet was NOT developed by America! This is a common (mainly American :P) misconception; it was actually first created by the massvie European atomic research group CERN, based in Switzerland. CERN is the group that has that big tube that goes under more than one country in northern Europe for smashing together particles to see what happens. :P
