Dec 21st, 2012. During this time the Earth, Sun and Black Hole will be alignment. This only happens every 25,600 years (I could be wrong on the exact #). As far as I understand it, Mayans and many other ancient cultures believed this marked a "rebirth". They saw the black hole as the "womb" of the stars.

Dec 21st, 2012. During this time the Earth, Sun and Black Hole will be alignment. This only happens every 25,600 years (I could be wrong on the exact #). As far as I understand it, Mayans and many other ancient cultures believed this marked a "rebirth". They saw the black hole as the "womb" of the stars.
He does say it brings the return (rebirth) of the wise men.
Of course I could be wrong!

You will always get the disbelievers with closed minds or people with an agenda tp spread the fear.
Fear alone is a very useful tool that can be used to get a negative reaction,

@mythoughtsalone You're very right. Though what he's speaking is actually the colloquialized spanish, not Mayan. And you're right a word for word translation isn't practical. The woman translating is doing an excellent job though. He may have chosen to speak Spanish for the translator or he simply may not know it....which is of course a consequence of the conquests that happened hundreds of years ago.

The science of all these 2012 theories gets an F. The main theory you clowns follow is that on Dec 21, 2012 the Sun, and the Earth will align with the blackhole in the centre of our galaxy; true this will happen. However, one problem. This happens every single December. Ask any cosmologist or astro-physicist :)
