What about those Class Action Suits that don't benefit the so-called Plaintiff one iota, and where all of the money goes to the money grubbing lawyers. That is what costs us money by raising the costs of products covered by the phony "Class Action."
This is extremely misleading and is part of a larger campaign led by insurance companies who care nothing about 'the little guy'. Their true motive is protecting their own profits against ALL lawsuits - even the meritorious ones.
In fact, our legal system already has multiple layers of protection built in to protect against 'frivolous' lawsuits; not the least of which is the fact that attorneys don't profit from bogus claims and only lose time and money on them.
