i am 22 years old, 5'3 and weigh 110lbs. I have never been overweight or have had rapid weight gain. Also, you can see i am short. I have suffered from stretch marks since i was about 12 years old. I have them on my knees, elbows, hips, chest, etc... They are now a silver/white colour. I desperately want to get rid of them and is wondering about Strivectin and laser removal. thanks!

Hi Dr. Schultz, i have really oily skin. is there any "cure" for oily skin? with dry skin, its easy to solve the problem by applying a good moisturizer. but what about stopping or combatting oily skin? thank you.

Thank you for all the miscellaneous subjects you are covering in this series Dr Schultz, although they don't all relate to me personally right now, your professional advice adds to my knowledge base.

I am in my mid 50's & I am fortunate to have almost no lines on my skin. I do however suffer from rosacea & broken capillaries & IPL sessions have helped there. I rotate my exfoliation with 2 products; 1 contains 8% AHA the 2nd 14% lactic acid.

What is your opinion on lactic acid exfol please?

If you're having sex at all, PLEASE don't consider Accutane! It can cause HORRIBLE birth defects if you accidentally get pregnant. I know you have to be on the Pill while you take it, but to me it wasn't worth the risk.

I do apply my skincare and sunscreen daily, but my face just looks dull unlike my other parts of the body.

What could be the reason for this?

Dr shultz , You say to always exfoliate your skin but everytime i exfoliate i wake up in the morning with irratated large red pimples all over my forehead . i have tried many diffrent brands of exfoliants gentle to more harsh . none of them seem to make a diffrence . so should i try a chemical exfolaint ?

Hi Dr. Shultz, I have an oily scalp and I have to wash my hair almost everyday! And it seems even worse now in the winter time. What kinds of ingredients should I look for in a shampoo in order to keep my hair as clean as possible? And is the oiliness of the scalp related to the oiliness of the face? I've read that fine hair is prone to oiliness because people with fine hair have more hair per square inch on the scalp (although I don't seem to have much hair). Is that just a myth? Thank you!
