@kooldog98 Helps him be able to do it, if he was carrying much weight he wouldnt be able to do these things, thats why he is built like a racing snake.Very impressive all the same as most skinny guys could not dream of doing this
This is completely unbelievable. I have been around guys benching 500 raw and things like that and this strength is on a completely different page than your typical strong guys. It is tough for me to grasp how 6 people disliked this. This instantly went into my favorites.
@jlinteris Actually, most people who are able to bench press over 2 times their weight are able to do the planche push up that he demonstrates, no problem. This is assuming the people who you see bench raw have a full ROM and don't just go 1/4 of the way.
@CcGameDKR sorry. this is not true. You have to train for the planche. To planche you have to train muscle you never trained before. You have to put the hands by the waist and reach forward and do push up etc. from this position. The muscles just dont respond to the planche without proper training.
This video is amazing! Some people are so confused and have now concept of muscle strength and muscle endurance though after seeing some comments. Some people just seem to want to vent hate against bodybuilders, no doubt dweeby bully victims. bodybuilding is a SPORT that is about AESTHETICS, it is NOT powerlifting. It about almost looking like a human sculpture of muscle balance and symetry not about 'who can lift the most'. This man weighs very little and demonstrates amazing muscular endurance
@BuLYjonnybravo82 Ronnie Coleman uses steroids and is disgusting to look at, ive lifted weights for a while and its easy compared to this stuff. Coleman is a hippopotamus
@mrReubenlegoman But you are missing the point entirely, you are jugding him on LOOKS, that is irrelevant, bodybuilding is a niche market and the look of them is not gonna be to many peoples tastes. The fact however is, Ronnie along with many other bodybuilders and powerlifters are way stronger than this guy, and this guy has muscular endurance that would put all of them to shame, it is comparing apples and oranges.
F=ma.... That guy has flexibility and is agile. The more flexible you are along with that core means he's faster and would beat the **** out of some meat head who can't move his arms... from the gym.
If u say that guys in the gym aren't strong, fight with them...that's just another type of strength , you can put up a lot or train for handstand...; )
i enjoy a good argument so ill but my nose into this one, first this dude is a beast... bottom line this dude performs incredably difficult feats of strength and balance and technique. lifting a 300lb weight over ur head only realy accuires strength and minimul balance and hardly any technique. and as for wich one is more impressive and difficult this dude takes the cake. lifting 300lbs <dominic lacasse
I've always been fascinated by physical strength. Mostly because for me it's been so elusive This man is in amazing shape i think someone like this is the epitome of human strength.
Holy crap! Is that a proper 1 hand back lever in 2:22 ?
I've seen pictures of John Gill doing a one arm front lever but this is the first time I've seen a proper one hand lever on video. That is insane brooooooooo. I'm still on straddle front/back lever and straddle planche and straddle flag. Someday I hope to reach this level.
The guy has very incredible strength! I guess people who lift more than 300lbs of weights are really not as strong as this guy. Sure the guy in the gym has big muscles but the question is is he really strong enough like this guy? NO! Dominic Lacasse is the true strongest man NOT Ronnie Coleman!
Why is it so hard for him to do a one-armed pull-up? He did three ninety degree pushups, almost kissing the floor, and holding it in the vertical and horizontal positions. He did some crazy fast back flips, SWITCHED AROUND MIDFLIGHT, but it took him that much effort to do a one-armed pullup. Is his demon wizardry limited to triceps and shoulders?
@IamPinhead He's extremely strong at presses, maybe not as much in pulling. Mind you he's still very strong at pulls, take a look @2:49, looks like a one arm back lever.
@TheRetardOnTheLoose I've seen him hold onto a rope (one handed), bend his arm behind his back and then hold himself up horizontally like that. Demon wizard.
@szaret1 everything in progression. small steps, get the shoulders/core going, and you'll be there. i'm working on a planche right now and i've heard with the right dedication an athletic person can get there in around 6 months
@MutenKami i see. how long do straight-arm planches usually take? i'm currently at the point where my hips and back are lined up and i'm starting to extend my legs (not bad, but still a LONG way to go)

A good test is, can you hold a tuck planche for 60 sec ? if you can do that with straight arm then you should work on extending legs. otherwise its best not to rush
@MutenKami yup, straight arms and all. i can hold the position with my hips up for about 10-15 seconds at a time, but my wrists/forearms definitely aren't strong enough for anything longer, so i'm taking it slow. i heard that '60 second' rule on the site i got the original progression instructions from. if you wanna take a look, just message me
@szaret1 to add to what onejordangerous said, slowly progressing with the right exercises can get you there. A strong core is vital. Gymnasts have the strongest abs/core around. It might take six months or it might take years. It depends on your current strength and your approach.
@BigJohnnyHonolulu took me one month (not even intense training) to get a human flag for 9 sec straight full extended legs and im pretty close to getting a one arm chin up so my point it just depends on your genes(initial physcial strenght plus being light helps a bit), you are right about what you are saying but for some people it might take even less thats what im saying...
You are correct. It does depend on your genes. Most people don't have the genes that allow them to do that after a short time of training. So I think you are the exception rather than the rule. But great going.
Yup, hanging sideways from a pole with your legs split is way more functional than picking heavy shit up (referring to the deadlift), I mean in real life yo always tend to find yourself in the position where you have to do some crazy dance on your hands, but picking heavy shit up never occurs.
However, if you are referring to bodybuilders, then I agree
@TomiSkrga i agree whole heartedly with you! This guy dosen't understand the concept of barbell lifts; squat, deadlift, bench press ect is to create strength, i love to see this cock sucker place a bar behind his back and squat 500 - 600 lbs, then we'll see what strength is!!
@mazzullaj i'm sorry how is the ability to perform "body weight" exercises harder than squatting 500 - 600 lbs. The moves he is performing do not rely solely on strength but numerous thing such as balance, co - ordination and technical ability to master the said move. However any idiot can bend their legs and squat, which relies on raw strength alone. I was arguing on who was stronger not which is harder to perform, you may have misread
This is relative strength, which is important. This guy could probably not compete against a powerlifter and vice versa; people train for different reasons.
@lusthateenvy Lol, 300 pounds is a joke. This guy is definitely impressive. You want to see the real deal, youtube Pat Mendez. He backsquatted 772 at 19 and was the first American (ever) to snatch over 200 kilos (440lbs) as a teenager.
@lusthateenvy well not really because this guy can do this but he can't bench press 300 so how does that make him stronger? It's just different strength, it's what you train. You can't be the best sprinter and the best long-distance runner at the same.
@lusthateenvy well not really because guys at the gym can't do this but this guy can't bench press 300 for sure so how does that make him stronger? it's just different strength, it's what you train. Can you say who's a better runner? A sprinter or a long-distance runner? They're both good, just different.
@Kando0615 Yeah, but the guys in the gym do not have FUNCTIONAL strength, this guy does. This guy could probably excel in martial arts very easily, as it is centered on the concept of functional strength. See, the body is naturally inclined to move in 3D motions similar to what this guy is doing. Bench presses are single-dimensional movements, so as a result, they often do not carry over into the movements we make in daily life.
@Danzinger I didn't say there wasn't a difference, what i said was to develop the strength to press 300lb pounds above your head is harder than this... Bit of common sense really... LOL you fail
Perhaps you need to re-read your own fucking comment you dumb fuck. "It is easier to learn this than to put 300lb above your head..."
Nowhere in there do you say "develop the strength," all you say is LEARN. If you wanted to LEARN how to do some of the feats in the video, there is a lot of fucking balance you need to master. You stupid fuck.
First off, learn is the wrong word to use here, like the other guy said, you don't learn how to lift something over your head, second, I can put three hundred lbs over my head, doing what this guy is doing is much more difficult.
@Smullet90 Strength training is teaching your muscles how to lift heavier weight... So learning is the right move, as we born with the natural instinct to know how to move, secondly if you could press 300lb above your head and you weight less than 300lb than you can do this... The time it would take to be able to press 300lb above your head, you could do all of this. Go home, I'm not having arguments with internet keyboard warriors.
Dude you're an idiot. Can you lift 300 lbs over our head? Can you do what he does in this video? You act like you're so ballsy but I bet our can't do either. Don't act like you know if you can't actually do either.
@Smullet90 I do martial arts more than anything but I also do some strength training and i know how long it takes to build strength when you focus on one muscle group at a time... But logical speaking if you can military press 300lb at this sort of weight, this stuff would not be hard at all. I'm not saying this is not amazing, i just don't think people should be amazed because it looks cool, people don't realize that to be able to military press 300lb at this weight would be just as amazing
@ThomasWinkworth Im sorry to say that the two are actually completely different, I know people who can lift crazy amounts of weight but cant do anything these people are doing in this video - one requires one or two muscle groups to be power while the other requires every little muscle in the target to be firing rapidly to maintain the steadiness
@Sineath2290 That's not really what i am saying. I'm saying someone pressing 300lb above their head is just as amazing. The time it takes to gain the strength to press 300lb above your head, you could have learn to do this... without a doubt, i know this, because, without ever training for this i could do one hand pull ups and the human flag...
@lusthateenvy lets see this lil 135 lawn fairy fight ray lewis, we'll see what real strength is then. "Yea whatever, lets see ray lewis do a one armmed pullup." Yea, lets see this little fag push 315
@lusthateenvy Who the fuck are you to talk? You probably can't even push 300 let alone do any of the shit he's doing.. Open your mouth when you have something to say you street rat wanna be.
@s3xy13oi didnt he already "open his mouth when he had something to say" when he wrote that comment. i'm gonna have to ask you to relax. I bet you cant push 300 or do what dom lacasse is either. by your logic only dom lacasse or people in the world that push 300 could talk about anything related to strength anyway....its youtube let him say what he wants to say
@lusthateenvy mother fuckers need to recognize the awesomeness of body weight training! I doubt most body builders cant even do one of the moves shown in this video. gymnasts, martial artists, acrobats, and people who do parkour are real athletes. any dickhead can lift heavy things and work their way up to an absurd amount of weight. It takes more effort, more devotion, and harder training to be able to do what is shown in this video, compared to just going to a gym and lifting some weights.
You are commenting on things you know little about unfortunately. 'any dickhead can lift an absurd amount of weight' just says it all. Powerlifting is a sport about raw strength, bodybuilding is a sport about aesthetics, and you nor I will ever be world champions at either since we aren't likely to be in the tiniest minority with unreal gentics and dedicated training. You have no knowledge of muscle fiber types and their functions, i can hold your hand through an explanation?
@BuLYjonnybravo82 seeing as how I do feel I have at least a pretty basic understanding of muscles and their function I actually would like an explanation. That being said I will never find it interesting to watch a man bench press 700 pounds,,,it isn't practical, there's no use for that skill. When I think of any kind of training I try to think of its relevance to life, or activities. the only activity powerlifting is good for is...well, powerlifting. I agree bodybuilding is about aesthetics
@mawkheaf I would embarass you and your Real Athlete ass I would crush your fucken soul i bench right now 350 and deadlift 5 flat and I would out run you and crush you in muscle ups dont get yourself confused dickhead there are body builders out there who will crush your god damn soul sunshine .
@daboypoet haha, wow someone needs to lay off the steroids. Your impressive 350 bench, and 500 pound dead lift mean nothing to me. I don't compare myself to other fitness practitioners I only compare OTHER people to each other. I definitely cant bench 350, but I also don't throw a hissy fit with threats when someone writes a comment on youtube. Take a deep breath and calm the fuck down bucko.
@mawkheaf Ahh somebodies but hurt lol its embarrassing when somebody can embarrass you in the things your good at and still maintain a lovely deadlift, bench and squat stop pretending your a athlete my man and give it up i pray that i run into you in the gym so i can laugh at you and your psuedo witty retorts ....as soon as people like you see somebody in very good shape you run and scream steroids .......the sign and mark of a true idiot
@daboypoet I haven't seen you, so I have no idea what kind of shape you're in. I mentioned steroids due to your livid response to my comment. It seems to me that you're the one who's butt hurt because you couldn't deal with my opinion on what i consider a pointless sport. Keep benching 350+...I don't care what you do, or how you do it. I was putting in my two cents. I'll continue with my progress, and you'll continue with yours...two different ideas of how to train. Nothing to get so angry about
@mawkheaf don't judge what you don't understand. Not just any dickhead can do what you described as working their way up to an absurd amount of weight. It takes incredible passion, consistency, discipline and systematic training and dieting. No one would say an olympic weightlifter isn't a true athlete. And while most bodybuilders and weightlifters can't do these tricks, no gymnast or acrobat has the strength to clean and jerk 180 kg. Don't insult something just for being different.
@mawkheaf I agree. But they are all sports and people spend just as long training to be mr olympia as people training for any other sports. But yh just going to the gym and lifting weights seems kinda pointless, and most guys traing for size are lifting are lifting 60-70% of there 1rep max, so barely evn getting stronger.
He's doing gymnastics so I'd say ... gymnastics. Most of the skills you see here are very specific and rely on strength not only from muscular development but also by neural training (that is; you get good at what you do).
Handstands, pull ups, dips, levers and so on. Good luck! :)
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
The 1 arm chin is where he needs improvement. He didn't actually clear the bar. This is a biceps deficiency. Do strict curls with back against board to eliminate swing. Lat pulldown machine can be used to practice locking (maintaining) at the top of the movement.
It's called a planche. A pretty amazing feat of strength. Very few people can do it correctly with perfect form like LaCasse. You'll see people attempt it with a bent body and legs and it looks ugly. It takes a lot more strength to do it correctly.
he is really strong but his muscles are built to lift his own body and he is pure muscles no fat that makes it easyer.. still very thought to do that!

@TomiSkrga i agree whole heartedly with you! This guy dosen't understand the concept of barbell lifts; squat, deadlift, bench press ect is to create strength, i love to see this cock sucker place a bar behind his back and squat 500 - 600 lbs, then we'll see what strength is!!
asdodge1 1 year ago
@asdodge1 the fact is that this is obviously more difficult.
dont be foolish he is real strong
mazzullaj 1 year ago
@mazzullaj i'm sorry how is the ability to perform "body weight" exercises harder than squatting 500 - 600 lbs. The moves he is performing do not rely solely on strength but numerous thing such as balance, co - ordination and technical ability to master the said move. However any idiot can bend their legs and squat, which relies on raw strength alone. I was arguing on who was stronger not which is harder to perform, you may have misread
asdodge1 1 year ago
@lusthateenvy
This is relative strength, which is important. This guy could probably not compete against a powerlifter and vice versa; people train for different reasons.
PTurchan1 1 year ago
@PTurchan1 dude i would take his "kind" of strength over any power lifter
..sorry
mazzullaj 1 year ago 2
@lusthateenvy no doubt.. not just raw power but incredible balance..
lets see one tough guy from the nfl do this stuff
mazzullaj 1 year ago
@lusthateenvy Lol, 300 pounds is a joke. This guy is definitely impressive. You want to see the real deal, youtube Pat Mendez. He backsquatted 772 at 19 and was the first American (ever) to snatch over 200 kilos (440lbs) as a teenager.
endorphine99 1 year ago
@lusthateenvy well not really because this guy can do this but he can't bench press 300 so how does that make him stronger? It's just different strength, it's what you train. You can't be the best sprinter and the best long-distance runner at the same.
Kando0615 1 year ago
@lusthateenvy well not really because guys at the gym can't do this but this guy can't bench press 300 for sure so how does that make him stronger? it's just different strength, it's what you train. Can you say who's a better runner? A sprinter or a long-distance runner? They're both good, just different.
Kando0615 1 year ago
@Kando0615 Yeah, but the guys in the gym do not have FUNCTIONAL strength, this guy does. This guy could probably excel in martial arts very easily, as it is centered on the concept of functional strength. See, the body is naturally inclined to move in 3D motions similar to what this guy is doing. Bench presses are single-dimensional movements, so as a result, they often do not carry over into the movements we make in daily life.
Jesusmetalhead 1 year ago
@lusthateenvy It is easier to learn this than to put 300lb above your head...
ThomasWinkworth 1 year ago
@ThomasWinkworth
You're an idiot. These are incredible feats of strength AND balance. There is a big difference.
Danzinger 1 year ago
@Danzinger I didn't say there wasn't a difference, what i said was to develop the strength to press 300lb pounds above your head is harder than this... Bit of common sense really... LOL you fail
ThomasWinkworth 1 year ago
@ThomasWinkworth
Danzinger 1 year ago
@Danzinger To learn to put 300lb pound above your head... is harder than this... Are you denying that? Your arguing with logic...
ThomasWinkworth 1 year ago
@ThomasWinkworth
First off, learn is the wrong word to use here, like the other guy said, you don't learn how to lift something over your head, second, I can put three hundred lbs over my head, doing what this guy is doing is much more difficult.
Smullet90 1 year ago
@Smullet90 Strength training is teaching your muscles how to lift heavier weight... So learning is the right move, as we born with the natural instinct to know how to move, secondly if you could press 300lb above your head and you weight less than 300lb than you can do this... The time it would take to be able to press 300lb above your head, you could do all of this. Go home, I'm not having arguments with internet keyboard warriors.
ThomasWinkworth 1 year ago
Dude you're an idiot. Can you lift 300 lbs over our head? Can you do what he does in this video? You act like you're so ballsy but I bet our can't do either. Don't act like you know if you can't actually do either.
Smullet90 11 months ago
@Smullet90 I do martial arts more than anything but I also do some strength training and i know how long it takes to build strength when you focus on one muscle group at a time... But logical speaking if you can military press 300lb at this sort of weight, this stuff would not be hard at all. I'm not saying this is not amazing, i just don't think people should be amazed because it looks cool, people don't realize that to be able to military press 300lb at this weight would be just as amazing
ThomasWinkworth 11 months ago
@ThomasWinkworth Im sorry to say that the two are actually completely different, I know people who can lift crazy amounts of weight but cant do anything these people are doing in this video - one requires one or two muscle groups to be power while the other requires every little muscle in the target to be firing rapidly to maintain the steadiness
Sineath2290 11 months ago
@Sineath2290 That's not really what i am saying. I'm saying someone pressing 300lb above their head is just as amazing. The time it takes to gain the strength to press 300lb above your head, you could have learn to do this... without a doubt, i know this, because, without ever training for this i could do one hand pull ups and the human flag...
ThomasWinkworth 11 months ago
@lusthateenvy lets see this lil 135 lawn fairy fight ray lewis, we'll see what real strength is then. "Yea whatever, lets see ray lewis do a one armmed pullup." Yea, lets see this little fag push 315
gridironstar10 10 months ago
@lusthateenvy Who the fuck are you to talk? You probably can't even push 300 let alone do any of the shit he's doing.. Open your mouth when you have something to say you street rat wanna be.
s3xy13oi 10 months ago
@s3xy13oi didnt he already "open his mouth when he had something to say" when he wrote that comment. i'm gonna have to ask you to relax. I bet you cant push 300 or do what dom lacasse is either. by your logic only dom lacasse or people in the world that push 300 could talk about anything related to strength anyway....its youtube let him say what he wants to say
tocks14 10 months ago
@lusthateenvy mother fuckers need to recognize the awesomeness of body weight training! I doubt most body builders cant even do one of the moves shown in this video. gymnasts, martial artists, acrobats, and people who do parkour are real athletes. any dickhead can lift heavy things and work their way up to an absurd amount of weight. It takes more effort, more devotion, and harder training to be able to do what is shown in this video, compared to just going to a gym and lifting some weights.
mawkheaf 10 months ago 9
@mawkheaf you have no idea what you are talking about.
tonetonevolume 8 months ago
@mawkheaf
BuLYjonnybravo82 8 months ago
@BuLYjonnybravo82 seeing as how I do feel I have at least a pretty basic understanding of muscles and their function I actually would like an explanation. That being said I will never find it interesting to watch a man bench press 700 pounds,,,it isn't practical, there's no use for that skill. When I think of any kind of training I try to think of its relevance to life, or activities. the only activity powerlifting is good for is...well, powerlifting. I agree bodybuilding is about aesthetics
mawkheaf 8 months ago
@mawkheaf I would embarass you and your Real Athlete ass I would crush your fucken soul i bench right now 350 and deadlift 5 flat and I would out run you and crush you in muscle ups dont get yourself confused dickhead there are body builders out there who will crush your god damn soul sunshine .
daboypoet 7 months ago
@daboypoet haha, wow someone needs to lay off the steroids. Your impressive 350 bench, and 500 pound dead lift mean nothing to me. I don't compare myself to other fitness practitioners I only compare OTHER people to each other. I definitely cant bench 350, but I also don't throw a hissy fit with threats when someone writes a comment on youtube. Take a deep breath and calm the fuck down bucko.
mawkheaf 7 months ago
@mawkheaf Ahh somebodies but hurt lol its embarrassing when somebody can embarrass you in the things your good at and still maintain a lovely deadlift, bench and squat stop pretending your a athlete my man and give it up i pray that i run into you in the gym so i can laugh at you and your psuedo witty retorts ....as soon as people like you see somebody in very good shape you run and scream steroids .......the sign and mark of a true idiot
daboypoet 7 months ago
@daboypoet I haven't seen you, so I have no idea what kind of shape you're in. I mentioned steroids due to your livid response to my comment. It seems to me that you're the one who's butt hurt because you couldn't deal with my opinion on what i consider a pointless sport. Keep benching 350+...I don't care what you do, or how you do it. I was putting in my two cents. I'll continue with my progress, and you'll continue with yours...two different ideas of how to train. Nothing to get so angry about
mawkheaf 7 months ago
@mawkheaf don't judge what you don't understand. Not just any dickhead can do what you described as working their way up to an absurd amount of weight. It takes incredible passion, consistency, discipline and systematic training and dieting. No one would say an olympic weightlifter isn't a true athlete. And while most bodybuilders and weightlifters can't do these tricks, no gymnast or acrobat has the strength to clean and jerk 180 kg. Don't insult something just for being different.

kwestlol 3 weeks ago
@mawkheaf I agree. But they are all sports and people spend just as long training to be mr olympia as people training for any other sports. But yh just going to the gym and lifting weights seems kinda pointless, and most guys traing for size are lifting are lifting 60-70% of there 1rep max, so barely evn getting stronger.

What would be the start of training to get your body able like this? Lots of core training? Add Yoga and Pilates?
squidler2 2 years ago
He's doing gymnastics so I'd say ... gymnastics. Most of the skills you see here are very specific and rely on strength not only from muscular development but also by neural training (that is; you get good at what you do).
Handstands, pull ups, dips, levers and so on. Good luck! :)
