fischertechnik Elevator (4 Levels and Automatic Doors)

I had to build an elevator out of fischertechnik and noone helped me when really 3 other guys were suppose to have helped me with it. So the teacher gave me all the credit. That's when the other 3 guys got upset at the teacher. I Lmao.

how are you connecting the motors motions to the chains? jw i want to know for sorter in school

@majorwarren: it is done via a rope connected to the conveyor cage. The motor winds the rope on a cable winch.

do you press the button and that is where it goes or does it just go to the levels in order?

@pokemonkiller20: yes, your 1st guess is right. You can also see this in the video. You push one of the buttons on the right side of the door and the elevator will move to this level.

fantastic, we made a 3level elevator in our 2nd year EEE but we couldnt manage to make all things right. Its not easy a thing although we tried and made a good one. Very nice indeed

When I was 8 years old my father bought me some big boxes fischer technik with motors and such and to this day it is the most greatest present I ever felt receiving. When my sister got a child I gave all of it to hr son when he was 8. When he was 10 i asked where it was...He didn't like it and they threw it in the bin. That is also the most painful, ungratefull and stupid thing I have experianced. It still hurts when thinking about it.
