Only two characters in the movie use black magic, so it's not a portrayal of black people, it's a portrayal of THOSE TWO PEOPLE.

The cajun firefly isn't racist either... it's just a personality trait.

Everybody has a different personality, no matter their skin color... just like every ice cream has a different flavor, no matter if it's low fat, soft, hard, or has sprinkles. you see what I'm saying? There's tons of dumb people in the world, skin color shouldn't matter.

The movie isn't made for you, it's made for the kids so let them enjoy it. The vodoo part comes in because it's set in New Orleans. It is a stereotype that people in New Orleans do vodoo just like the stereotype you mentioned about Haitians. Black people acted in the movie and helped make the movie so what are you talking about? The firefly is speaking that way because it's making fun of Cajuns. Have you ever heard people from Lousiana speak? Many of them have very strange accents.

I loved the movie, but I agree with you on the dating theme on all the new disney shows and I wish my cousin would block the disney channels on my niece's TV too.

And well, I don't know about this black magic thing...but Bones (the series) had an episode in which they in New Orleans. The whole episode was on Boodoo magic affecting people, the way they put it there I just thought it was not just like what black people do, but New Orleans people or superstitious people do
