I'd always heard of Daniel Day Lewis, but I'd never seen him in a movie. I loved the play, but the movie was amazing! Wynona Rider is a brilliant actress and pulls off her part very well. But, man! Daniel Day Lewis is unforgettable! I nearly cried in class when John Proctor was talking to his wife right before he shouted, "I want my life!". John Proctor is a good man, I love his character. Such a great movie!

exactly.. but there was a relationship prior to when the play was writen. in the actual story, john was 60 or older, and abigail was around 11 or 12, and no relationship at all was there.

In school, I've been on the topic of the Salem witch trials, watched this movie, even read Arthur Miller's play. You must be blind if you can't tell the romance is there. To the creator of this video, hun, you did a fabulous job. I've been looking for fan made videos for this movie and the ONLY one I found worth watching was this one.

This was SOOO good and YES it is kinda like a love story! DUH! Abigail started all this because to get revenge and get Goody Proctor hanged but insted her love gets hung...wich is SO sad but I understand why he did it...I think Abigail knew it would never work out so she ranaway and to never be heard from again! Wiona Ryder and Daniel Day Lewis are BRILLIANT actors...She is GORGEOUS and he is quite attractive himself! I DONT WANT any crap for what I said pleas!

romance. It all falls in when you actually sit there and decode the movie and the play itself. And yes. I agree, Daniel is quite attractive.. =D
