This is why I love your channel. You're in this to connect with your audience, right? And you can't connect with subscribers that don't have a person at the other end, so you're dead right when you say this doesn't matter and you don't care. To hell with the morality of validation by subscriber counts.

First Fordham Sessions album was amazing. Great kickoff to your career, imho. You shouldn't act like it wasn't any good, because I and a lot of other people think it was, and it was the reason we became fans of you. Also, I'd still like to have the original CD.

i dont see why people would be against their subscriber count being the same as their view count. but i suppose 'big' people might have a larger number of inactive accounts subscribed to them and they are afraid of loosing their status or something.

I understand why people are freaking out about the subscriber thing, but I'm kind of intrigued to see if (and how) this will change things. I think subscriber count has been a status symbol for a little too long, and (regular) viewcount is simply more important. It'll be interesting to see how people react tomorrow.

I don't play a lot of piano because I'm pretty bad at it and don't have a keyboard on which to practice, but back when I was able to practice, I was guilty of that same "two-note thumb thing" every now and then. This makes me feel cool!

@MikeLombardoMusic I've been guilty of a lot of "frowned upon" music techniques. My biggest one was lifting my fingers too high off the holes when playing woodwinds. My teacher used to complain that it looked too floppy or something, and it really ended up hurting me as I started getting into early music instruments like the cornamuse and rauschpfieffe, because I had trouble finding the holes. Had to get rid of that habit quickly!
