I think I'm the only one that actually enjoyed this movie for what it was. However, I do believe that they could have done a better job if they focused much more on Oa, the Lantern Corp, focusing on certain lantern members (especially Sinestro and his extreme methods, which would portray him as an extreme anti-hero that's on verge of becoming a super villian) and displaying more what the Green Lantern Corp actually does instead of focusing on Hal's love life. Oh well, hopefully the sequel.

The one good thing in this whole movie. Should have stayed in space the entire movie after Hal arrived. Manhunters for 1st outing, The rise of parallax and fall of Sinestro for the next and the Sinestro Corps for the last. Just a suggestion for a trilogy. Make Sinestro ruthless but somewhat heroic in the first film and watch as he falls from grace in the next and make him vengeful & obsessed with the guardians in the last.

I really wanted this movie to be good. I tried to like it, but honestly, there had to be at least one movie out there where Ryan reynolds was not funny (AT ALL) and this turned out to be the one. Sorry, guys. (btw sinestros front tooth is not cgi, like I thought it was in sherlock holmes. That is really mark strongs front tooth. Talk about making good use of product placement)

A two year old could easily pick apart this movie just from the fact that theres a bunch of aliens with magic rings out to save the universe. If anything, complain about how forced all the jokes felt. They were funny jokes i will admit, but they all felt forced. complain about how it was made, not the contents.
