I enjoyed it quite a bit. I was able to sing along with the whole instrumental track. I think some ponies are just butthurt that they didn't do it first or something. People should chill and just let themselves enjoy things. Life is better that way.

It's not /his/ fault he was 'featured' on EqD, nor should you let the fact that he was make you upset. Personally, I can't stand it when people worship that blog. But it seems that's what you're doing. As if you're trying to defend its honor. Nothing was lost. Get over it and move on. The video will be here, and there's nothing you can do to change that.

I do so, then check Youtube to see if it's been uploaded already. I find that it hasn't been. So I upload it as a video response. It gets featured. Now I'm the bad guy.

This isn't about "nobody else has done it yet", it's the fact that this guy took someone else's MIDI file, put it through a program (GXSCC) and uploaded it to YouTube and is taking credit for a 0-effort midi conversion. And it's featured on EQD.
