  • unlike European reviewers who are quite biased towards the Alfa's passion and soul, I'm talking about you, Jeremy Clarkson, American reviewers look at the Alfa the same way that they look at a BMW,

  • Wow. So much body-roll. Some guys on Alfabb talked about it, but I didn't know it was that bad until now. Still one of my all-time favorite cars.

  • Holy shit! I was literally in tears at 4:11 John says; "An odd item or two might have to be left behind." The guy just throws the bag in the weeds and slams the trunk like "fuck this!" and walks away. Then the camera just switches angles. That chain of events was priceless!

  • N/m I found that THIS was the 75 here in the U.S.

  • In Italian Oro is Gold, Platinum in Italian it is Platino

  • Lol, it has the windowswitches on the roof! :p

Yeah those italians can make good looking cars, but they always do strange things when it comes to practicality. :p

  • Sorry.

Can you tell me what it's worth an Alfa 75 in America?

  • Было бы круто если бы по Русский =)

  • 88 MIIILESSS PER HOOOUUURRRRR

  • the alfa romeo milano is a great car i love mine......

  • 3.00 some drivers think the seats are to narrow lol

    stop eating those burgers

  • Couldn't agree more, we Americans are a fat bunch of people

  • @ionoMaybe

finaly your an american thats not arrogant

and accept the fact about the most americans :)

  • Classic. Thanks for sharing. I'm hearing Alfa (Fiat) is making a return to the US. Should be interesting.

  • yes but it isn't the true alfa ... now alfa is a fiat...

the last true alfa it's alfa 75 (in usa milano)

  • @paridealfa not for me, actual alfa romeos are quite beautiful

  • john had hair back then

  • for me, the last Alfa Romeo!

  • for me too, but still, I love 147&156...

  • grande video, del 88' figata ragazzi!!! io ho un twin spark,lo uso solo per mio divertimento personale,è il mio giocattolo!! I love it

  • Most of all, I think that the poster of this video diserves the greatest compliments for bringing this video. Recorderded in 1988, precious moments.

  • Still have my Milano I bought new in 1988. I don't think I could ever get rid of it- all you have to do is get behind the wheel & open it up...poetry!!

  • @Carlito1988 (i know this comment was posted 3 years ago, so hope you can reference this reply) wow, from brand new to now (or at least up to your comment was made!) still have your milano? I am an alfa fan through and through. As a kid I dreamt of owning a GTV6, something about the aggressive (very italian) shape of that car. How was the reliability of your Milano throughout the years? Was it as nightmarish as people (like Top Gear UK) always convey today? How was/is the maintenance?

  • @Carlito1988 Was maintenance religiously kept on your machine? (service done at alfa romeo dealership when they existed, and italian car specialists after they left US shores, or just a dedicated mech or diy?) I hope the upcoming 2014 Alfa Guilia planned to spearhead Alfa back to the US has that magical Alfa look and spirit translated into the 21st century. I do like the 159.

  • Great car, love it!

Thx for post this video.

  • $21,000....... Worth every penny.

  • ofcourse!! i mean would you rather have a boring front wheel drive acura, or an alfa romeo with racing pedigree? the choice is obvious really.

  • no audio...no party!!!

  • Such a nice car. If only it looked as good as a Alfa Romeo should.

  • It has its thing, not pretty by universal standard but a nice design anyways, much better than a 80's Giuletta... The car has a personality of its own really, quirky looks, quirky ergonomics, wonderful engines, performance, and a soundtrack that'll make your blood boil!!

  • can't hear it

  • Not the prettiest Alfa ever heh

  • @coreydl2008 The horsecollar brake lever looks like the one on a 1969 to 1971 Ford LTD coupe and the Chevrolet cars from the late 1960's early 1970's.

  • Mi Evoluzione esmejor que este modelo!

  • It was incredible car in 1988! Still very good!

  • Anonima Lombarda Fabbrica Automobili, Ing. Nicola ROMEO.

  • For a 1988 its still a very good looking car.

  • At 4:00 the guy drop out the last suitcase! :D

    Who cares? wahahahaha!

  • :D:D:D:D the best car ever make!

  • 75 rules!!! :)))

  • Awsome video, just what I have been waiting so long for. I drive a Milano so this is perfect! GraZie!! Thanks!!

  • Great video!thanks! i am italian, near Milan! 75 rules!!!!!

  • Nice clip, I have been waiting for this one! Thank you for posting it!

  • Glad you liked it! I also have the road test for the Maserati Biturbo that was on this same episode, I will upload it soon! Gian Mauro

  • Great video! I'm waitng for the Maserati test...Don´t you have more Alfas tests?

  • The car was sold as Alfa-Romeo 75 here. Saw a lot of them here in Germany.

  • Yes! My cousin had a twin Spark 4 cylinder, while I had a 2.5 V6 here! What is a Ford Laser, btw?

  • Ford Laser is Australian, it is looking like a Mazda 323 (Protege) with some face lifting.

  • @airaudo

    I had a 1.8 imola, a twinspark and I now own a 3.0 V6 Amerika
