  • Shed such a babe, even with her posh Madonna English accent.

  • She is an Aussie! but her background is from england!!!

  • She is from Australien everyone! Not England.

  • had no idea she was british :/

  • shes so hotttt <33333

  • Okay everyone Caitlin Stasey is Aussie but also British, Aussie Father, British Mother. So you can see why she has a british accent.

  • @MemberOfTheOrder She just went to england for a bit and came back with an accent. But she will lose it.

  • This movie is just like Red Dawn but with very good looking Australian models lol.

  • the movie was actually really great and ive never read the books but after seeing the movie i think it would worth while to give them a go.

The cast i think were really great, and Caitlin is a very talented actress. x

  • Shey was like "ZOEY" of Left 4 Dead in that movie!! C'mon, she's badass and holds an AK47 for crying out loud!

  • This woman is very nice looking.

  • she sounds really smart

  • ignore the accent... the bush in the background makes her look like she's on ramsay street! I wish.

  • Who cares about the accent~! SHES HOT!

  • She was born in Melbourne. Having a look at her BIO shows that she has done heaps of work, mainly in Australia.

In the film she has an aussie accent

  • so fucking hot!

  • looovvvee caitlin amazing!!!!!!!!!

  • so is she english or aussie....

  • @bb3840 Aussie she did some work in england and came back with an accent

  • because her mum and dad are english,

but shes a great aussie :P

i love you caitlin, your amazzzzing.

  • shes sounds a bit like emma watson lol but still hot haha

  • @MaltezaPleazaa no, she sounds defo the same like Pixie Lott who is a singer from London

  • "They are fantastic stories..if I do say so myself." What did you write the books

  • love her as rach and cnt wait to c the movie!!!!!!!!

  • It's not fake. She moved to the UK for a while and her accent changed while over there from being around British people all the time. It just hasn't changed back since she came back to Australia.

  • this fake accent is ridiculous!! im australian, but i live in london, met her at some music festivals over here. in real life she has an australian accent, makes her look so stupid putting on this british accent for the cameras, or now shes got some fame, sad, just like the minouges, etc, but at least they actully LIVE here, so its excusable..

she should EMBRACE being australian, dont mask her voice with a pommy accent, its so fake!

  • The movie was amazing, it really stuck to the storyline of the book.

  • her accent is not an austrailian accent ! i love her !! sorry for my bad english ,im german

  • is it coming to the uk?? she sound so posh/british its hilarious! lol

  • Does anyone think she sounds similar to delta goodrem?

  • She is very... Emma Watson. Love it :)

  • coolest everrrrrrrr i'm reading the book tooooo

  • she has always been an amazing actress! her accent makes her sound even better ahah :)

    the movie was amazinggggg!

btw i think she should come back to neighbours :)

  • Her accent makes her infinitely sexier <3

  • she didn't mention chris pang as one of the casts....:(

  • She's pretty much the opposite of how I imagined Ellie in the books but I think she did a fantastic job as Ellie, really believable. I agree with @musicman02 I didn't imagine Ellie being as pretty or skinny as she is but I got over that quick. And I'm glad I'm not the only person who thought she sounded English in the interview, yet she sounded more Australian (with a bit of English coming out at times) in the film

  • She's too pretty to play Ellie.

When I read the books, I had a fairly definite image of Ellie being kinda frumpy and un-attractive.

I think the film ellie looks too weak (and gorgeous)

  • her mums english

  • @ WoordWerks " You seem like a self righteous, thickskinned, know all. Try and work on that alright. You may be cool in person, but your comments make you sound kinda dumb." .

Why post this on my comments page and not out in the open you gutless wanker. My comments where simply that it is a ridiculous premise that untrained australian teenagers with no training or firearms knowledge will last against a professional military force ( other than the wet dream fanatasies of nerds like you ).

  • i was just about to say is it just me or does she sound British..but then i looked at everyone else's comments

  • she's soo hot :P Haha nah i saw the movie lastnight, MUST SEE, really good loved it, i think ive finally uncovered the term, "on the edge of my seat" because thats what i was the whole movie !! i recond its a 9/10 for sure.

  • i think everyone has read this since there forcing u to read it at school

  • just saw the movie. shittest bunch of actors i have ever seen on screen. hilariously funny (laughing AT funny though).

  • @miles3032 screw you man. it was a great movie with great actors and if you can't see that go watch it again until you do.

  • @Lloydtodamax

    fag

  • @miles3032 your the fag arse-hole. this movie is great. you are either blind or mentally retarded.

  • Such a great movie, I'm definitely going to see it again.

  • The reason she sounds British is because her family is FROM England.. she is related to Stephen Fry. It's picked up a bit lately because she has travelled to see her family. And her parents have a slight British accent. Its funny though because its SO similar to australian accent.. but more re-find haha

  • loved the movie

  • there's a bit of British there but it soudns stronger because the interviewer has such a strong "australian accent"

  • fuck me caitlin stasey :p

  • HOLY GOD ! IM SO EXCITED !

  • she is half British, and she actually doesn't sound that british here anyway, SHE PUTS AN AUSSIE ACCENT ON IN TH FILM SO WHAT ELSE DOES IT MATTER!? She has a british passport she's lived there for a lot of her life, her mother is very english as is her partner. I also saw in an intevrview that the director asked them to be slightly more british so that over seas audiences could undestand them. I've seen the film and she's aussie through and through. Lay off you xenophobes, why do you care

  • @roxybindi how did you find the film?

  • The accent sounds like a put on....Actually it's pretty annoying.

  • Did she forget she is an Aussie!!??

  • @superpumpernickel umm she does sound british, her mother is british. not really strong but definitely a tinge of british in there...i'm a kiwi btw so it aint just the americans picking up on it

  • she been living in england for a while, so you just start talking like that after a while...

  • this movies gonna awe-some!

  • its gonna be MAD

  • since when did she have an english accent...

  • @tchoc96 mmmmm..... she does

  • @tchoc96 shes being travelling in englanf recently.. the australian accent is very transparent and is lost quite easily after going overseas.

  • @tchoc96 her mum's English and she lived there for almost a year when she was young.

  • @tchoc96 her mother is english and she spent a year over there

  • @tchoc96 Crazy! I guess because she's lived in LA, Oz, and England, it's a big mixture.

  • @pidgin ; yerr but when she worked on the Sleepover Club,, she didnt even have an english accent! O:

  • i cnt wait til the film comes out!

  • her comment about aussie films is exactly true!

  • why does her accent kinda sound a bit english?

  • @ccsays yea i was thinking that aswell

  • @ccsays yeh it really does...weird.

  • @ccsays it does a bit. maybe she's a bit nervous. i dont remember it being like that in neighbours, not that i really watched the show very much.

  • @ccsays abit? It sounds totally English.

  • @tomermoderchai no wonder people say that or Australian accents sound British this is disgraceful

  • @ryansmuc @tomermoderchai Her mother is English, and she used to live in England.

  • @ryansmuc lool

  • @ccsays I don't think it sounds english, it sounds the same as mine, and I'm Australian... :)

  • @ccsays Her mum is British/English from Norwich UK, Caitlin even lived there for over one year.

  • @ccsays she spent a year or so in England when she was like, 14 i think. But she did spend some time there
