  • Yes, Domingo still performs here in the States from time-to-time. It has been really difficult getting artists in to the U.S. Homeland Security is very tight. I'll post when Domingo comes back! -- He's so awesome, and a wonderful artist to work with as well!!!

  • I would love to see him perform. Is he still doing shows?

  • He is really is the most natural male Flamenco dancer of any of them. there are so many seriously good ones, but domingo is my favorite. It as if he was born dancing and he has always known how to dance. I love his style and Duende, so very beautiful.

Believe it or not I compare him to one of the greatest Rock guitarists, Stevie Ray Vaughan. He talks with his moves and gestures and steps, much like the great Stevie Ray Vaughan did with his guitar. they are both in a class by themselves.

  • It's worth waiting (or pushing...) 3' for Ortega's dancing. Here we can see his very technical and sensual performance, 100% virile.

He deserved better resolution image. At least we can see him.

Of course, NOTHING is compared to seeing him dancing alive. He shines like the sun!

  • Excelente!!!

  • you must go to old havana i believe calle muralla and there you will see the best the world has to offer in this dance at night on thursday....yes in CUBA.....my friend Renny Arozarena teaches the dance and is excellent at it.

  • oleee mi javiii q mostro eres

  • Magnifico!

  • veo esto y me estremesco ole¡

  • I love flamenco guitar but despite there is not any in this video, I must admit that this is true flamenco : a sort of religious ceremony coming from earth, that is not made to softly enjoy the ears or make us jiggle in rythm while washing up, neither amuse oneself in a nightspot, but experience that true beauty is not necessarily harmonious or attractive or appealing.

  • BRAVO!

  • Glad I checked my subscriptions tonight. Thank you so much for this.

Is the solo work improvised or set, or a combination? I should do some reading.

  • So far as I can see Domingo is doing a combination of improvisation and choreografied stepcombinations. And although he is dancing in the style called alegría most of he things he does is "por bulerías" which is typical for people from Jerez de la Frontera, since La Bulería is there favorit style
