guys, sorry to be a downer but there isn't going to be a season 2 as much as we'd love it to happen, anime seasons usually last just one season. It's a real shame and we'd love to see it but it won't happen.

Usually you find the season 2 rumours on here but it won't happen. If you want to carry on the series just read the manga.

I want a second season too, but no, there isn't going to be another one. Animenewsnetwork didn't say anything about it. But, there's the manga. :O It ended about 2-3 months ago with chapter 83. So anyone who wants to know who Haruhi ended up with, if Tamaki met his mother, and etc... just read the manga. :) And I suggest starting from chapter one, there are differences in the manga and the anime.

@KatharanChan I'm betting it's not true. The people who translate the ouran manga get the raws from the actual japanese magazine Ouran is published in. (Lala) They haven't told us about a second season. Plus, Hatori Bisco, the manga artist of Ouran has a blog and she didn't post anything about a second season. I'd like a second season too, but I'm afraid it'll be impossible because of the last 2 anime-original episodes. (Eclair is anime-only.)

And I think the manga is better too. I liked how the anime was funny. Haha. I never would've gotten into Ouran HSHC if I hadn't laughed so much in the first episode.

@KatharanChan I don't really pay attention to couples but I can see why some people liked Haruhi and Hikaru together. But I think Tamaki and Haruhi made a better couple, because both of them influenced each other in a way that changed both of their lives. But that's just my opinion. I can't wait for the one-shot chapter~ XD

@KatharanChan One-shot chapter, it's kinda like an epilogue. It'll be 60 pages. It's set to be months after the host club went to study overseas. Something about Kyouya being summoned by his father and other things. I was sceptical too- but I did a huge amount of research and all of the more reliable sites (those with references, etc.) said there is going to be a second season.
