@surjit1234 I am actually delighted to be wrong! I absolutely identify with the golden era of Hindi cinema though I was born in disco dancer generation. I came across 'tere sadhke balam' from Amar and stood transfixed by Madhubala's pristine acting and much commented 'classic' beauty. I cannot think of any modern songs that can do this....I am sitting here 1000s miles from India and just keep coming back to this gems.

One can't imagine a girl of 9 possessing such a talent -- all the more interesting to know that she herself sang the song! A very, very natural performer in all respects she was! All the human emotions and feelings she could portray with so much ease -- and in a natural flow!
