Where did yodelling begin?

@hibernia22 : I don't know what the entire history is, but I know it's of German/Austrian/Swiss roots. It became sorta "Country-fied" in the States because a lot of German immigrants settled in the South and integrated some of their yodeling styles of music with the blue grass/country western ballads.

Yes, Yodeling has a long association with country western music. Unfortuanantly in the last 40 years or so it has fallen out of favor. Do a search for Jimmie Rodgers or the Missipppi Blue Yodler

I Love this video of Taylor and her others from AGT, especially the first one. She totally blindsided the three judges with her first perfomance as witnessed by Piers', David's and Randy's initial reactions. This little girl has real talent and great stage presence. Taylor also has a great singing voice. The other little girl was good but not as entertaining. I feel Taylor Ware should have won the AGT competition. However the exposure she got here was great for her. I wish her continued success.
