I love Chandler Massey, I hope he sticks around as Will for a long time, he's definitely my favorite incarnation of Will, and he's so cute. I can't wait for the gay story to start unfolding :)
I bet 5 months from now nothing has happened between Will and Sonny. I kind of hate this series but still I was hooked on it for years. I just can't stand that everything always happens so slowly and nothing is believable. I finally got rid of my addiction and now this storyline of Will's is going to ruin everything. I still think a love triangle between Will, Chad, and the new Sonny would be super hot. I would prefer Will to end up with Chad. Sonny doesn't really do anything for me.

I agree with others here, those complaining about the pace of the story don't understand daytime soaps. I can remember watching Days with my mother in the summer. Then after skipping weeks/months I could still understand what was happening. Get used to the slow pace or you will not enjoy it.

This is how soaps have always worked with their storylines. The same thing happens in primetime, but they deal with once a week episodes for a 8, 10, 13 or 22 weeks per year.
It's not just the storyline that's slow. It's everything. Single lines of dialogue somehow get dragged out to unimaginable lengths, for seemingly no reason. I wouldn't be surprised if the producers instruct the actors to take this long on purpose.

I can already see that Will is going to be feeling a lot of pressure from his family to continue a relationship with Gabi. WTF is his great grand mother doing buying Gabi jewelery anyway? Not so subtle hint there and Gabi is so clueless, she doesn't need more encouragement. Not to mention that Sammi is so detached and caught up in her own drama that she'll be the last to get a clue about Will's true feelings.
@anthonydlangford it was the same with atwt and luke/noah story think it may be a american soap opera thing, though i cant say for sure as i dont know enough about it, hopefully it will pick up
@anthonydlangford Agreed, Days really does take it's sweet time with their stories. In some ways that's good but it can also be really bad unfortunately. The good thing? When stories finally reach their peak it's just mind blowing (EJ finding out about Nicole's baby mishaps? Daniel learning Phillip was the father of Parker?). The bad part though is that it can get really boring. I'm sure when this story starts to really pick up though it will be incredible!
