I saw this tour in Hervey Bay Queensland....Great show it was too, he was also a child hood memory in SHIRLS NEIGHBOURHOOD..I grew up with SKYHOOKS. RIP SS
I really remember this vividly as my first favourite song. Amusing to think that it was made by an iconic 70's band. That clip, though somewhat dated, I remember seeing as 'wow this is how things are made'.
The first time I ever heard Jukebox In Siberia, I was about 6 years old and friends of my parents had a party for which they hired a jukebox and sure enough, on came this song!
The catchy guitar riffs and Shirley's voice was the most awesome thing I'd ever heard at that stage in my young life and the vivid memory of that day has stayed with me ever since. The Skyhooks are right up there amongst my favourites to this day!
I saw Skyhooks sometime last century in Adelaide at Memorial Drive. They were my favourite band. The girls all liked Sherbet. Bunch of poofs. Anyway, the concert was great. Skyhooks were there backing up Status Quo. What a concert!
I first saw this vid while living in Sydney in the early 90's. The version I saw was a more narative/theatrical version rather than the studio version. Anybody know what I'm talking about? Any clues in finding the missing vid.......

if I had to pinpoint the most embarrassing re-formation of any Aussie band, this one would win hands down. awful song. caricature of a once great band
@Coldacre - mate what a ridiculous comment - this was the only Australian single to reach number 1 in 1990. It stayed there for 2 weeks. Their Summer Tour was sold out across Australia night in night out for 4 months. The Australian public had a great affection for this band and it was highlighted with this track and subsequent album sales. Commercial radio at the time snubbed the song because they had so many other cool timeless classics to play like Rick Astley Cathy Dennis Bros Ratcat etc
@Coldacre you sir are an idiot. While I may not have been born during the time Skyhooks were an active band (I was born in 93 except for their brief stint in 94) they were a great band and getting back together was one of the best things that could have happened for the Australian music industry at the time
OzG! Yankie Thankee fer Savin muh Favy Skyhooks Video on Utoob! Bin luvvin dis band since 74 and wept with joy when I found em here! Muh heart broke about Shirl, tho...
What a crappy song. No wonder these guys disappeared off the face of the earth after the 80s.
