I think on the first day it was the mat that mad her slip.. if you notice she has another mat on top ..

Probably not, as when you look at both vaults in the team comp she opened up way too early. I am sure the mat was for her stress fracture.

Yeah she opened up too early in team finals. It was no vault of the mat's. Watch the slow mo and you'll see.

By the way, those types of mats are almost a little slippery on top.

I think that vault meant more to her than any other piece of gymnastics she did in that entire competition. You can see it on her face.
