Xone 4 D Traktor Pro & Maschine

Mate, i have the same setup, and my pc cant handle it with CPU, can you tell me wich mac i shoud get myself? I have low budget, and what minimum mac is i can get is for 700 euros. I can buy some used macs with 2.4 coure 2 due, 8 gigs of ddr3 ram and some random card, think its 256... will it handle that setupid with xone 4d and maschine? Ich bin mittlerweile auch beim digitalen Auflegen gelandet, weil ich mich mit den guten alten Turnis zu eingeschränkt gefühlt habe und Beatmatchen tue ich auch ned mehr selber. Wenn man sich nur darauf konzentriert kann man einfach ned mehr wirklich kreativ sein. Ich habe 2 laptops (Traktor und Ableton), Traktor mit einer 4D und Ableton mit einem Launchpad, da kommen locker 8 channels zusammen die gleichzeitig spielen, wie soll man da noch beatmatchen ? Also digital nicht gleich Nichtskönner ;)

hab echt lange überlegt über das Auflegen an sich und es stimmt jeder Trottel kann mit Sync auflegen aber was spricht dagegen mit den Teil z.B. in nen Club aufzulegen gibts sowas wie eine Regel TURNIS oder CDJS only? O_o

So lange der Sound stimmt und er nicht wie ne Mumie vor den Teil steht und nicht nur ab und zu knöpfchen dreht und ich auch weiß der kanns auch ohne und beherrscht den beatmatch ist mir das völlig egal.

aber naja dieser Streit ist so sinnlos und wird nie enden :P

@IIChangEII Ich lege mit Vinyls sowie Timecode auf und "früher" hat man sich über die Sync-"Dj´s" echauffieren. Aber dem Puplikum ist´s egal wo die Musik "herkommt". Die wollen schlicht feiern. Also soll es mir auch egal sein wer wie musiziert. ;-) Am ende entscheid die Qualität des Sets.

Es gibt diverse Techniken:

1. Vinyl

2. CD

3. Digital (DJ Software)

4. Liveacten

Der Gute Herr hier arbeitet mit dem typischen Digitalsetup. Ergänzt sich perfekt. Die Synctaste dient dafür, dass man sich sofort diversen Effekten, Samples oder anderen Decks zuwenden kann und somit keine Zeit am beatmatchen vergoldet!

@VENTURALABEL also am beatmatchen vergoidet man keine zeit wenn man es drauf hat..soviel dazu. und klar gibts solche techniken aber ich finds nur schwach weil es zu einfach is...das kann ja jeder! sogar mein kleiner neffe und der is 12 kann auf traktor auflegen..also bitte! nix für ungut aber das find ich doch ein wenig zu unoriginääl! aber die "mashine" is schon fett...trotzdem ich bleib beim oldschool shit!

@gilligen81 Wer nicht mit echtem Vinyl only auflegen kann, der wird nie das Gefühl kennen wenn die Baselines sich in Sync treffen und man einen ganz eigenen Sound kreiert... :D Trotzdem ist teilweise die digitale Technik mittlerweile unverzichtbar im Set wenn man flexibel sein möchte. I <3 Vinyl. :D

sry, but i think you have not a hunch of this setup

only two decks on this big midi mixxer... redsound runs over headphones and not over the aux sends.

you should use the 4 decks in traktor pro to use loops everytime.

i think its not the right mixxer.... its a bad mixxer.

buy a xone 92 and two 1ds and you have a 4 band eq, 6 channels and you can use 4 decks, the machine, and the soundbite or diffrent effex.

the 4d and the 3d take money for nothing!!!

@DuViOnline What's bad about syncing? You don't still write letters although there is a much better, faster technology do you? Writing email doesn't mean you can't handwrite, just like syncing doesn't mean you can't mix.

nice set up . well actually the future of dj setup ups . u know this already , can u sinq the maschine to the master midi clock on traktor . if u can do a little demo , on live remixing with maschine overlaying beats high-hats on the master mix of two tracks . this will be an good vid to see the german power of traktor with maschine .
