i got my dog from the pound like 2 years ago also he is the most loving dog in the world i would never have though dogs from the pound could be so nice also i feel like a life saver because my dog only had 1 more day to in the pound or he would be put to sleep so im happy i went that day to get him so i also say to everyone go to the pound and get a dog u save a life and you feel great about it<3

We had to give her to my dad (my parents are divorced)

My cat Dominic is adopted, we were told that he was literally a day away from being put down then a place that rescues animals from getting euthenized took him, then we adopted him, he's soo cute. He's deaf we found out recently (he's not albino I guess just a birth defect) and he doesn't meow kinda just a moan croaking noise, and he purrs really, really loud.

@Janellielove They've all been mixed haha :) Two of them were golden retriever/black lab, one was a black lab/collie, one is terrier/german shepherd/pitbull, one is a terrier/chihuahua, and one is a german shepherd/terrier :) the first three passed away, though :'( and the last one I didn't adopt, I actually found him outside of my house haha :p no one claimed him, so I just kept him :)

@bretrosexual same here =/ its just sad cause so many dogs & cats are put to sleep each year. if they extended it to a couple months instead of a couple weeks until theyre put to sleep, i think they can find a home

@Biracialboi hehe sorry :D & my mom said that too, but we ended up getting Sasha anyway. just take your mom to the pound just to "look around" and she'll most likely fall in love with a dog/cat enough to adopt it! it worked for me:) but im just persuasive like that lol
