The "Kite" you see it G.U. is an Anti-Aida program created by Aura. She used Kite's character as the basis of the program, which is why it looks and fights a lot like Kite.

A second possibility is the fact that the world R:1 was destroyed, and only part of the data was recovered, so the azure knight's "cracked" appearance may stem from that.

Interestingly either he(or maybe it was Skeith...) hints at that in Vol. 3. I'm not sure if it was Haseo or Skeith who said it, but in their little conversation at the end one of them said "Hey.. your me". Guess that was a alusion to the Sora/Skeith mix in SIGN's end.
Pity they never aluded in-game to the other carry overs(Yata, Endrance, and Kuhn).

This is an amazing AMV, and I LOVE IT!~ I prefer version 1 to version 2 because the feel to the song is much better introduced.
