  • Also this was really sad as this was Peter Cushing's very last work as an actor before he retired doing the Biggies movie and appearing as his character in this music video - still good song and a classy way to go out 8-)

  • Why didnt they do more music?

  • terrible music video. but good song.

  • What the world is John Deacon doing there?? LOL

  • o mesmo baixo q ele usou no clipe scandal ;D

  • 3:45 Rockin'.

  • Wow, thanks for sharing this. I read from IMDB that Peter Cushing had a line in this clip and tried to search for it... I think I tried 5 or 6 different clips before I found this one that actually had the line. :D

  • I have the soundtrack on MP3 - the whole thing including the theme tune and the score. Send me a PM with your email address if you fancy a copy :)

  • The name of this song is actually called "No Turning Back" by The Immortals...a band of John Deacon's.

  • nice

  • Great video. Thanks for uploading. Cheesy as hell, and rare to boot! Better than The Cross any day!

  • Exactly the bass is really cool it sounds like synth but i thing it's plugged in some kind of bass effects. Really cool!

  • I love the bass in this song

  • This group is better than Roger Taylors "The Cross" effort.

  • what kind of bass is he playing????

  • @benford99

He is playing Giffin natural wood finish bass. Custom-built for him by Roger Giffin

  • not to bad of a song

  • YEAH! JOHN! :P

  • One thing I dont understand, is why theyre using footage of the film which is set in 1917 (for the "past" bits) and the musicians and dancers are using radio helmets and things that werent around until the 30s or something like that

  • Oh my god, you are so intelligent noticing that.......is that what you want people to say? It's a bloody music video....they didn't have electric bass or synthesisers in 1917 either...why not comment about that?

  • It's a music video? Wow! I REALLY hadn't noticed that! Of course I knew that, but historical accuracy should've been important when you've got the film playing in the background!

  • lol, this is such a thing John would do...XD

  • That's Deaky to you!

  • Hey Grand Moff Tarkin/The Real Van Helsing and John Deacon in the same video ....

  • The bass line is great, you don't hear bassist like John these days, and I like John because it's an Anti Rock Start

  • The Immortals - No turning back

    (with John Deacon from Queen).

    I think...?

  • hey!! one thing... does anybody know what is the name of the effect that john is using??? it sounds like the bass of body lenguaje and staying power

  • It's likely a keyboard or some sort of synthesizer.

  • JAjAAJ that's really john!!!!! what the hell is he doing there??????????? JAjAJ so freak!!

  • It's really freak!!!

  • Hahaha, sick.

  • hahaha

  • i love deacon, but this song is terrible :D

  • ive heard a bit of it once before but this is the first time ive heard it all. i have to say your right mate lol lol lol

  • This song is genius as is the film. The CSO/Blue Screenwork is appalling but who cares! I have the entire soundtrackon vinyl. BLISS! Peter Cushing's little cameo could have beenmore exciting but hey!

  • My Great uncle was best friends and flying partners with Captain W.E. Johns during the first World War.

  • Nice! The cleanest copy of this song I've ever heard. I commend you for posting this

  • I LOVE THE MOVIE!

  • what the hell did john get himsel into?

  • hahahaha really... the only reason to watch this is John Deacon

  • Biggles killed a shitload of Krauts. Go Deacy!!!

  • jesus john mate wtf have ya got yaself into ?

  • I think that the only reason anybody knows about these guys is cuz John Deacon played bass. This is the only song I've heard by 'the immortals'. (And quite honestly the only one I want to).

  • Let me guess ...you were born after 1979...unless... you were living under a rock. ; )

I believe this was the only vocal song released by The Immortals and it's an awesome song!

    This was 1986 man !

  • I don't think this is serious

  • There needs to be a John Deacon fan site

  • Well done for uploading this, its very rare.

  • John Deacon is favourtie Bass player ever! I love that he did some funky stuff on the side and with Queen. Funk, soul, and motown was his style.

  • poor deaky looks soo ridiculous!

  • I NEEED one of those pilot caps

  • JOHN DEACON IS QUEEN..!

  • this song sux apart from deacons opening 3 second bass riff

  • this isn't a serious song, is it?

  • A "MF?" No. He was a TRUE friend of Freddie's, and chose not to continue. He chose to honour Freddie's memory.

  • Get over it. People die. People get left behind, and hav to get on with their lives. What did you want them to do, go into a nursing home in their mid forties?

  • 1985 i think?

  • The song was released in 1986.

  • The Immortals aren't Queen nor are they Alan Parsons Project but I for one, wouldn't change a single thing about this songor video!I love Lenny-he's top talent and a beautiful, creative soul!

  • Hey! What's with the few rude comments?! Lenny is AWESOME?! Why am I the first one to mention his greatness?!It's apparent that some of you are very young and weren't around (perhaps living under a rock) during the 70's when Lenny made his mark in the U.K. and the world over.He did an awesome job providing vocals, character and style for this song (by the way, aren't most soundtracks even slightly cheesy?!).

  • What is John doing!? But the bass line is great, he's holding up his part of the song.

But what a crappy manufactured joke of a song!

  • la canción se llama No turning back.

  • R.I.P. Peter Cushing...what a talent

  • John Deacon is so cool!

  • adorkable

  • Not really Queen-level not even solo-Queen-level. Shame. He was a brilliant songwriter. "Who needs you?"

  • Oh, yes, I love that song. And also remind "I sant to break free" (for me the best Queen's song)

  • I'm gussing you Hit "S" by mistake.

  • WHY JOHN, WHY!?!? that was freaky and sad beyond belief. *sigh* oh well. i still love him and want to have his babies. *giggle* geeky deaky... gotta love him!

  • OMG! It's Geeky Deaky! But AWW! He's so cute! And yet still so HILARIOUS! :p :D HAHA! When me and my friend Rogerina first saw this.... WE WERE IN HYSTERICS! HAHA! :p :D xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

  • Get outta the way goofy Immortal, let us see more of John Deacon and the alternate First Doctor!

  • What movie is this from?

  • Biggles
