  • Children were not as sensitive in those days and could handle this kind of movie! Today kids need grief counselors for everything!

  • G!!!!!!!!!?????????????????

  • Rated G? Isn't this suppose to be rated PG?

  • people your over thinking the movie, its a planet full of apes for gods sake

  • By some reason 1968 trailer has better video quality than 1971 :D

  • @Sadoda777 i know i was wondering that too!!

  • I don't get it. In the last movie they got blown up. The entire planet did. So how r they alive?

  • @anja837 supposedly they escaped on taylor's (or the other guy in the 2nd films) fixed spaceship.

  • Thank you Mom and Dad for taking us to go watch this movie

  • Cornelius and Zira get killed to death.

  • Great Norman Wisdom movie. Love this.

  • This was the worst one. So we are expected to believe that Cornelius and Zira not only anticipated that Taylor was going to blow up the planet, but that they were also able to rescue the spaceship from the bottom of the Lake and fix it? They were able to do this even though they are from a primitive society that doesn't even have cars, let alone spaceships? That would have made a pretty good movie on its own.

  • @Bossk333 the mutated people did in a war, not Taylor (they captured hem) and didn't they say the ship came to surface. I also don't think they ever said it was broken, it crashed and sunk yes but they didn't say it was broken I think.

God I remember the planet of the apes movies good lol, must have been because I saw them the first time in an exam-period.

  • @naam123lol At the end of Beneath, Taylor was fatally wounded, with his last gasp, he set of the bomb, wiping out all life on the ape planet. Had the ship been fine, the astronauts could have taken off again after it crash landed. Since the ship sank, it must have been full of water. Even if the electronics were waterproof, what do horse-riding apes know about flying a spaceship backwards through time? How did they know that Taylor was going to blow up the planet and that they need to leave?

  • @Bossk333 They presumed it all...

  • @Bossk333 all true lol

  • Ain't the story impossible? Cornelius and Zira come from the future earth, ape planet, where monkeys have control and their son, Ceaser will start the revolution on earth. But without the revolution Cornelius and Zira could never have come back to present earth with the spaceship and bring Ceasar to start the revolution doesn't that make it impossible? Can somebody explain me this?

  • @naam123lol It's like The Terminator. Had the Terminator never gone back in time, Cyberdyne (or was it Skynet) never would have found his chip and arm in the wreckage, which is what Miles Dyson used to develop the technology in the 2nd movie. So had the Terminator not gone back in time, it never would have existed, meaning that Kyle Reese (John Connors father) would have never gone back in time to fight it, and Sarah Connor never would have been impregnated by him. Ok, now I'm confused.

  • @Bossk333 Your talking about the robot-Arnold Schwarzenegger movies right? I never watched them but if you think about it, its impossible.

Its like a never ending circle if you go back in time and you change the past you change the futur.

But how could you have went back in time if you were a result (in the futur) of that change you made by going back.

If you think about even more :p you can say timetravelling will never ever be possible

  • @naam123lol I know, I was just pointing out that it was consistent with Hollywood logic. Don't even get me started on Back to the Future. Yeesh.

  • Filmed in Brixton.

  • We got in though and enjoyed the air conditioning.

  • This, too should/ve been rated GP due to the subject matter of the film instead of making it so family orientated.

  • @oldschoolbx1970 Please, Polanski's Macbeth was family oriented.

  • @Ypipable Damn. That sucks.

  • the tanned blond apes are insidious ..... what do you call those things? Arctic Monkeys?

  • The worst of the Apes films !!! Why was Kim Hunters make-up degraded so badly from the 1st film ???

  • I agree with the make-up being awful compared to the first.

I happen to think the movie is quite good, though.

  • LOL! i know!

that was the goriest G rated film ive ever seen

  • i guess they rated movies weird back then...

  • @HitmanAddict It would've been best if only the film wwould've been rated GP.

  • @oldschoolbx1970 I agree. How can you wash the brains if you don't take them out of the skull?

  • @Ypipable You got a point there.

  • @dance4eva97 That' why it should've been rated GP.

  • Hey its Victor Newman from the Young and the Restless!
