I have seen many of your videos. They are fun to watch and very entertaining. Unfortunately, you are ruining your health by following SAD (standard American Diet). Too much cream, milk, cheese, eggs, white bread. You are putting yourself at risk for heart disease, diabetes, stroke .. all the diseases that were very uncommon in Japan until recently.
@vidamo123 Actually, there is little risk involved when you indulge in moderation. Most of his videos featuring Japanese cuisine are very healthy, and there are only problems when he makes Italian food. That said, it's still a delicious dish, but one that no one in their right mind would eat every day of the week.
In Italy we don't use garlic, heavy cream and parsley.. we just mix the eggs with grated cheese (if you can find "pecorino romano" is the best one), and we use pancetta, or better guanciale instead of bacon. But I still like your way, and carbonara is one of my favorite pasta! :)

I'm sorry but I'm actually italian :) I like the way you did it even if it's not the "right" way. You shouldn't use cream, cheese, garlic and parsley...but many italians use a little cream because it's easier!!!! If you find a proper italian grocery store buy some pancetta to use instead of bacon (we don't eat bacon traditionally it Italy).
@pinkbunnybun The traditional Italian recipe calls for either pecorino romano or parmigiano-reggiano (parmesan). But this isn't Italian so I may be wrong, sorry!

In Japan, Western dishes are called 'Yousyoku'.
But, some of them are Japanized, or created in Japan, so these are different from original dishes.
As an example, there is a 'Yousyoku' called 'Neapolitan spaghetti' in Japan.
But, such a dish does not exist in actual Naples of Italy.
-
